Lmao seems like it. He’s a **** character and people always try and act like he’s better than peter cause he’s a diverse character. They try to play it safe like he has no flaws and fits Spider-Man more than peter does. It’s annoying the character is just black peter Parker. Now this movie may be different and I’m just complaining but from what I’ve seen in the past they put miles on this huge chair and acts like he’s a great character who can do no wrong and should replace peter and they shoe horn the kid in everything when there are better and more interesting Spider-Man characters out there

Again shut up..... I’m a person of color myself. Just cause a character is a different color doesn’t mean I have to automatically like him.

As I told you. He’s peter Parker light and written poorly and isn’t his own character. He just piggy backs off existing characters and that’s so annoying. If you want to create a new character than have them be different and have them have there own enemies and powers. Miles only has two different powers but pretty much the same damn story.

After the ultimate universe he is just there and he adds nothing new to the table. He has no compelling stories or scenes. And people are so afraid to say something cause they’ll look like they are hating on the character cause of his race. But minority characters can be written poorly to. Finn comes to mind.
So be quiet telling me it’s cause he’s diverse. Black panther is diverse. But he is a great character with his own lore and villains.

Miles might as well be a glorified robin.

1. True but they also own form there own identity and they also are there own character. Every Spider-Man is there own character except miles who shares the same name and powers and villains. Not much of a symbol just boring.


2. You really asking a stupid question like that? Look at half the movies that come out. Venom, ragnorak. Most movies don’t deserve good scores but they’ll get them anyway. Ragnorak wasn’t a 99 percent movie and venom was a 21 percent movie. Critics are most def afraid imo to give this movie a bad rap or they’ll probably be viewed as racist. Now it may be good but I’m just saying.

3. I didn’t bring up diversity genius. I said he’s a diverse character. Totally different. You spun it around like I got a problem with that. I don’t.

4. Like I told you but you probably skimmed through it. Miles seems to be immune to ridicule amoung critics. He is painted as a perfect character and has no flaws. So yes I believe critics are being very careful with what they say about this character to not be seen as out of touch. I don’t believe the movie is as good as critics say. I just don’t. Maybe I’m wrong but I see a clear bias when it comes to miles.

There are so many interesting Spider-Man but he’s the one that gets shoehorned in all the time in everything now. His only memorable arc was after the death of peter and he had to prove he was just as good as Spider-Man.

I’ll give it a try tho. But I seriously don’t believe it’s the great spidey movie nor is it 100 percent. Lol you really said “ they’ll set aside how to judge a film” yes!

This is shaping up to be something real special. Getting great reviews. I would much prefer a stylized animated series like this, just can the boring mcu Spider-Man.

Just came back from a screening, I was doubtful but holy moly this was amazing. I’ve enjoyed this more than any live action Spiderman film.

saw it at the advanced screening yesterday. it acknowledged all spiderman movies, even the silly spiderman 3 stuff. this movie is trippy as hell. psychedelic trippin.
the humor is on point and not overly cheesy and corny. id rank it on par with raimi's spiderman 2...but the visuals in this movie is mind blowing.

nick cage made it as spiderman. amazing.

Every TV spot here in the UK makes the animation look juddery as hell. Just a lousy TV conversion, or is it a stylistic choice for the entire film?

plus we get to get a peak at the different universes explored here.

oh, stay at the end of the movie. it has that easter egg stuff.
