He also stated that our money was not important to him nor anyone involved with Soveregin Studios and that their work is top notch bar none.

This, to me, is the most troubling part of the post. Wow...

Let me know how yours turned out if you ever recieve it. I can provide pictures of mine here if anyone wishes to see how the finished figure looks...bare in mind however there are faults with my figure

I haven't been here a long time, but, truth be told, I kind of wish I never found this place. I got involved with the whole Howes debacle and got bilked on that - now I'm waiting for word from the painter who has my Locke head and haven't heard anything from him in about a month.

Communication seems to be a big issue with a lot of the sculptors/painters here - getting behind is okay, it happens to everyone, but the lack of updates gets maddening! Even if it’s an e-mail blast letting people know that you’re behind would be preferable to not knowing anything.

Howes was banned because I emailed him a number of times and requested he resolve the matter with forum members and told him he would be banned if that did not happen. He never responded to any of my emails so he was banned.

We have not arrived at the point with Sovereign yet. We have one member saying his agent was rude in emails - and at least 2 who have bad experience with said agent on ebay. I've emailed Shawn requesting he resolve his outstanding orders from the forum - we'll see what happens.

I have an outstanding Maximus on order with Shawn that I paid for a long time ago in full. I cant remember when it was as it was so long ago. I also noticed that he posted the same figure on ebay for sale and more than one. How can one post up on ebay the same figures that are on order? shouldnt the back orders be filled first? When this figure shows up, I am never buying from Shawn again...It's a shame because the man has talent but has no ????ing clue how to run a business.

Very fair in my opinion

I was also on the early list for the Mola ram and only got the figure because i said i would open a paypal dispute to get my money back. I`ll get some pictures up later...safe to say i will be selling it as iam not happy with it at all

I waited a year since payment for my full Indy kit.

Communication was poor or non-existent.
It arrived stinking of smoke.
The jasket was not correctly tailored for my HT TT as requested.
The boots were missing from the kit.


Overall, not the best custom experience.
