Macfarlane missed his chance, he should have started doing 1/4 Scale maybe even 1/5 to keep the fan base alive but his own Ego got in the way

i cant stand how he puts his name everywhere. those spawn statues all have a plaque with his signature on it who gives a s--t it should be about the character that plaque actually stops me from purchasing them.

Thats the only part that I don't like about them but that 20th Anniv statue is just too cool to pass up. Maybe I can put something over the sig plate to hide his name.

Mcfarlane's ego is as big as galactus.Years before Diamond Select Toys pitched mcfarlane the idea of making spawn minimates.Todd refused because these toys a)were not being made by him and b)wouldn't succeed.Yeah,right!Minimates are on their 10th anniversary and todd makes nfl figures with limited articulation.Even when he agrees that another company will make spawn figures (3a) these figures will come out in god knows how many years.

I remember collecting the action figures back in the mid-90s. Oh those days were fun! Too bad Spawn toys aren't around anymore. They were the evolution of the modern action figure with their better sculpts and paints.

Who is Macfarlane? Since McFarlane is now producing his own statues, I don't see him selling its license to anyone.

I think the only place you can get him now is ebay (and pay about double + shipping.) Did you by chance get the COS since they will ship that one to you? And you even get a more limited edition than we do (250 as opposed to 500 for US/Canada.)
