He said he saw those long, long ago. They're both a no-brainer anyway without confirmation.

I'd be more interested if Jack has seen a Krennic proto... or the most unlikely proto ever: Two-Tubes :D

In for Glover as Lando and nothing else.

It’s going next to my Poe and bearded Cap in my “Figures I am sexually attracted to” shelf.

Nice......I need a shelf like that too !!

Assuming Chewie isn't on that shelf.....:lol

Yes, it has gone very quiet on the TLJ front hasn't it. It's like they've decided to sub-in the A-team (read OT figures) when the fans all but rioted on TLJ.

really wish it wasnt solo, new character or sumthin that meets a cgi harrison at end lol. cuz that dude is no solo so far at all IMO

Hard for me to hear Han in Alden’s voice. Like I know he’s younger and all but it should still be closer.

It’s just not a distant enough gap. Imo, if you’re going to make films about younger/older iconic characters, it has to be at least 20 years or so. Ewan as Obi-Wan wasn’t jarring to me as you had (I may be wrong on exact ages) 63 yr old Guinness to 29 McGregor. Here you have a 33 yr old Ford and a 28 yr old Alden. I dunno if I verbalized that correctly, but that’s how I feel about it. It’s just hard to suspend your disbelief when it’s so close and within the same timeline.

Fifth Element anyone ????? I knew Ruby Rhod would make a comeback somewhere ! :lol

agreed

bounty hunters movie would be perfect i think cuz of this, the helmets and alien appearances would hide actors and those with face showing like dengar wouldn't be a issue cuz of how lil screen time og actor got. blows my mind they went with solo and ignored this issue, seems so obvious.
:slap

That gold dancer looks like something out of the Casino planet in TLJ so I immediately don't like it.

Yes, I'm surprised they went for a similar higher-end location. However perhaps the story drove it there ?? I was expecting more cantina type smoke filled bars with bounty hunters and rough aliens. Still might get that though.

First of all, I hope the movie is good. That said, I'm starting to get miffed at how HT either skips over certain key characters (i.e. Cassian Andor) or does a "show and no" (Yellowjacket). Sure, I understand that they are in the business of making profits, and need to focus on what sells as opposed to whether or not collectors can line up a full cast of characters along their display shelves. Why spend time and resources producing a Lando figure that will sell 5,000 unit (or whatever), when they can move 20,000 Solos with the same investment? However, at some point I think focusing almost exclusively on the heavy hitters without rounding out lines is going to discourage a lot of collectors. Provide HT even produces figures from this movie, Han may end up being the only release. Or they may do another Chewy and some type of trooper variant because they would be 90% reuse. So even if Lando (who doesn't even have an OT release yet for crying out loud) Qi'ra, or other characters are absolutely fantastic, chances are HT won't produce them. Or they will show fantastic looking prototypes that never get released, which in certain respects is like putting salt in the wound. The fact is, unfortunately, minority and female characters don't tend to sell as well so it's always going to be tougher to get those characters to market, especially with $200+ price tag (this applies to villains, and b-tier character to some degree as well). It would be nice if HT came up with ways to get more of these characters to the market, either by releasing as limited time/limited edition specials, which would generally sell through quickly because of the collectibility in the secondary, or subcontracting certain characters out to a smaller producer that would be thrilled to get the work while taking a percentage of the profit with little to none of the risk.

Actually I'm liking the feel of this casino a lot more than the one in TLJ myself, as it comes across a bit more dark and mysterious somehow. Plus it seems a lot more appropriate to the heist movie style than the other one did.

HT made 6 different figures from Rogue One: K2, Jyn, Jyn disguise, DT, Shoretrooper, and Chirrut (plus two more alt versions of the DT)... so that's 8.

They also showed another 3 (Baze, Tank Trooper, Shoretrooper Leader)

Go with that for Han Solo. Likely we'll get at least 6 figures no matter how bad the film is... Han Solo, Qi-Ra, Lando, Chewbacca are likely. And a couple "troopers". Moloch is a crap-shoot -- HT has bad track record on villains, and especially expensive villains and this outfit looks expensive. If Fett's in it, you can bet on Fett (reuse trumps originality). Also, looks like other films designs recur here like Death Star Trooper and Tank Trooper, both of which help cover other lines.

First figure previewed in April will likely be a safe 'trooper' of some sort. Or the Death Star Trooper.
