I can see disguised Jyn as a Con exclusive and Krennic as a limited release similar to Stormtrooper Finn.

I could see Cassian and Jyn in their Imperial disguises released as Con Exclusive but at this point I'm afraid we won't get one Cassian let alone a Con Ex. I have K2 ordered but I won't order Jyn unless we get Cassian. I either want all three or I'm good with the droid.

Hopefully it's just the holidays that's keeping him from being shown. I have Jyn and K2 ordered but now I probably wait to order Chirrut til Cassian is announced.

I agree and that was my point. Nothing new and exciting in a very long time from a company that usually previewed a new figure every week.

If they've become too top heavy with orders-to-come -- which may be why so many things are getting pushed back -- then perhaps this will be a long dry spell while they catch up.

Same thing happened to Sideshow long ago -- and it really changed the momentum. Sideshow came back with higher prices and far fewer Star Wars offerings after that time (no more new fig every month). New business plan went into effect.

You're right, and I really hope this is the case. HT probably has too much on their plate between all of the different lines right now. This down time is definitely a good thing, however long it stays this way gives them that much more time to try and catch up on some product. While I don't mind waiting for my figures, figures being released anywhere from 9-12 months after a movie comes out is a little ridiculous. Example: The Force Awakens came out over a year ago, and Han, Chewie, Luke and Resistance Rey are yet to be released. If they were released today, you're looking at 14 months after the film before you get your figure. It's too long.

Civil War came out last May, and we're just seeing most of these figures now, seven months later, so it's about 9 months after the movie that we're getting them. That's about the best case scenario for HT these days.

The less they announce, the better. They need to get caught up so they can get figures released closer to the hype of the films.

^^^only if they offer "classic" Blade Runner in addition to the new stuff....Deckard, Pris, Batty. THAT will break the internet.

Dream of figures not to be.

If HT did Bladerunner, they would do Deckard.... and that's it. And it would look like all their other Ford attempts.

Actually HT would also make the Asian guy in the freezing lab. And that's it. I make you eyes.

I'd actually buy that guy. And he'd come with enough 1/6 eyeballs to convert all of my figs to PERS, so it's a win no matter what.:dunno

I "hope" I can buy 1/6 scale figures of my custom standees one day.

Agreed! I loved the aliens in RO. Unique but still so Star Wars-ey. I really wish that Episode VIII being 11 months away wouldn't force them to move on so quickly from RO. I'd like all those aliens you posted plus Moroff, Bodhi, Tarkin, Krennic and of course Cassian. Come on HT just do a blitz of like 5-6 more RO characters before moving on. :lecture

If Hot Toys ultimately doesn't want to make Cassian, Bodhi, Tarkin, etc, I wonder why Sideshow couldn't just step in and do 'em instead? Is it a licensing thing...?

Unfortunately, I think we won't see much more from "Rogue One", as far as Hot Toys goes.

I think a Baze release is a catch-22, as many are waiting for his official announcement before pre-ordering Chirrut. But if Chirrut sales are bad, no Baze...

There are some great potential figures, especially aliens, but I still feel that Hot Toys is over-extended and over-committed to other licenses and franchises, to go deep into this film.

I hope I'm wrong.

Cassian boggles my mind, why not make arguably all the leads but instead they made two supporting characters..?? Hopefully they make him or sideshow, if not then its the custom route.

Movie hasn't been out a month.....while I don't expect a ton more figs I believe Cassian and Krennic are comin....

I would love to go the custom route with Cassian and Bodhi if Hots Toys refused to make them, but man... That could cost a good $1000 per figure. Not an easy custom to put together.

I have a feeling that both Cassian and Krennic are coming or at least it's a really big hope.

but I have a feeling that we won't get much from Rogue One more than that. They still have to hit the Original Trilogy and in the second half of the year I think they'll be really ramping up for the new film.

You may be right.

But you need a new sig, enough of Ren. Have you had Galina yet? Best *** on the net.
