Received my Snake Supreme CC from BBTS today. Just had time for a quick unbox and once over but I love this. Personally, it might even top their classic CC. I think the color scheme just pops in person. I gotta dig through the collection storage to try find the old Cobra throne for him to occupy.

Mine came in today. Great looking figure! Hips are a bit loose, but not too bad.
I do have a problem with the magnets though. The middle one in the back is fine, the other two on the body, I can't seem to find. Is this normal?
Thanks for the info!

Wish someone would remake the Cobra throne. Still regret passing on this back in the days

Got my Cobra Commander and Destro in a couple weeks ago. For me, Cobra Commander is the winner of the two for me. Love it more than the SS V2 outside of the no hood option. I plan to swap/Frankenstein the body with something of my own just like I've done with Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. The wrist pegs are made of a stronger plastic than the ones that came with Snake Eyes thankfully as those were easy to break. Might have to buy another V2 Cobra Commander to get the hooded sculpt, cape and hand that holds the globe to use with this figure.

Will have to add magnets to the cape at the shoulders b/c it appears they forgot to install those

As for Destro, he's pretty good too BUT, I had a defect on the puffy collar so had to get a replacement which sort of took from the fun of the figure. Also, the silver neck paint easily chips which is unfortunate. Currently trying to figure out what body to use to swap to as I really don't like that Rambo body with it's week elbow ratchets. The rest is really good though and a great improvement over the SS version.

Looks great on the throne! I'm going to have mine on the big Sideshow Cobra display stand.

And nope, you're not the only one with the magnet issue with the cape.
Surprised 3z didn't include the laser pistol.
agreed! That's why I kept the one from the V1 Sideshow Cobra Commander to use on this figure.

Not sure if you got the magnet placement figured out but I have some tips.

The instructions are wrong about there being 3 magnets in the cape. There is the one in the back of the cape but there are not magnets under the Cobra symbols. However, there are metal strips in pouches in the cape that can attract to the magnets on the body. The magnets on the body are under the lapel of the jacket however either the magnets are too low on the body or the metal strips are not long enough on the cape. The position of the magnets on the body seem to match up to where the magnets on the cape are shown in the instructions. You can attach the cape with the back magnet and bend the metal strips over the shoulders to get the cape to stay in place or you can get the metal strips to connect at the very tip of the strip with a little maneuvering and effort.

I might either try to add a magnet under the coat at the top of the shoulders to attract to the metal strips or add a magnet under the Cobra symbols on the cape to attract to the magnets on the body eventually.

I bought a second Destro head from eBay to eventually custom into a more classic head with the eyebrows and green eyes. I did the eyebrows by following the angular lines on the mask but still have to get paint for the eyes. I did a quick mock up of the eyes to see how it will kind of look when done.

Got mine this week, it is supreme! I need Threezero to dig more into the GI Joe catalog though. These repeated characters are boring me. Need characters I don't already have between them and SS.

One of THE greatest dios SSC has ever made.
The Arishakage temple was another, alas I never got that 1

I remember in the last days of them selling off their GI Joe products, I swooped in and grabbed a bunch of stuff on discount, including that.
That's awesome.
Similiar experience here in Oz.
We had an online retailer called Casefresh whom mainly sold Modern Hasbro.
When 12inch SSC items came in,I'd waited heaps to buy their SW and Joe stuff cause they heavily discounted, that's how I got the Throne and hooded CC.
Then Hot toys Marvel came in...😁

Is there a fix for Storm Shadows weak elbows? I just got mine. I noticed the warranty inside the box. Would that help me get a replacement?

The elbows are naturally weak. I’ve had 3 bodies and they all tend to barely hold at 90 degrees but typically force themselves down. Just the nature of the rubber arms unfortunately
