maybe just a problem with the production factory. by the time they found out what it looked like it would have been too costly to go back and redo everything. we see it time and time again, the company itself having every intention of getting things right, yet it never happens in the factory. who knows...

Less of a problem with the company in this case and more of a case with Marvel. The only information I have is via Master Replicas but what they've said is that Marvel will approve something and then once its approved changes made are usually unapproved even if its for better accuracy. Its a weird thought but a lot of these companies were working with concept art and when its closer to release the changes that need to be made, Marvel says "No, its been approved". It definitely explains the inconsistencies amongst all the different SM3 products ESPECIALLY with Venom.

Sounds good to me. I think I am gonna just get venom, Black suited, and Parker. I think medicom will have time to impove the Reg Spidey in the future. I think Venom and Back suited look great because they have a somewhat slimy appearence in the movie while the regualr spidey does not. The pleather looks good on them but in my opinion not as good on the Regular spidey.

I really like the Medi SM3 Venom but what really gets me is how inaccurate it and all the other Venom stuff really is. It looks great but this is the film Venom:

Nothing out there looks like that!!! I blame Marvel completely because they had Venom so underwraps and so guarded in development that all the licensees had to use conceptual art which obviously was changed. Venom should not have been a launch piece because now we have great Venom stuff out there on the market to be purchased but nothing accurate to the portrayal in the film. Ugh.

Well it's not so bad on the grounds that the portrayal in the film is UGLY :emperor
Medicom, for instance, gave Venom a much cooler design IMO.

True, Medi's version is more appealing because its closer to the comics but it IS inaccurate...I find it funny that people will witchhunt Medi about the weblines or coloring or even material of the Spidey pieces but when Venom is around completely off even in color because the Weblines were almost black not grey or even silver no one says a word....

LOL. Isnt it ironic that People criticise the Medi Comic Venom for looking ugly tho accurate and the Movie Venom for being innacurate tho looking beautiful

Hey Pete. I saw you pics. They were rushed, but nice. I was hoping you'd post more... I just want some awesome pics to quinch my thrist for this figure! I have all 3 coming in in 2 weeks.!! Can't wait! I also, believe it or not have the Comic Spidey from a 6 month old wait list coming in on the same shipment from SSC...!

Cheers, I reckon he looks good, you just can't see the textile of the fabric in photos like you can on the Symbiote & Vemon costumes... I think it'll look loads better in hand! Fingers-Crossed!

I'm thinking about getting the red/blue and black suit Spidey's to do like the movie poster where his reflection is the other suit like the poster. Y'all seem more experienced with Medicom (I don't own any) think it would be feasible or would it look bad?
