I need to do just a little touch-up work around one of his eyes. The red paint bled into the black part of his right eye. I am not sure on the exact color of black that I will need to use. Can someone give me some advice please? The touch-up part is the black that outlines his white eyes, not the black webbing in his suit.

Thanks for any help.

I got him from my LCBS. Is this thing sold out? Will they have a replacement?

You should be able to arrange the return through your LCBS. They can even have Sideshow deliver the new one to you and pick it up from you to avoid you having to actually go there. Should be pretty painless. I am having to do it w/ my spidey.

Can you show me some pics ?

Maybe I can help you out by looking at the problems first.

I fixed up alot of paint apps on my Iron Man Mk. VI maquette.

Maybe SS should include a paintbrush and some small paint samples with their Marvel comiquettes going forward.

I can, but I have never loaded pics on this board before. How do I do that, or can I email you some pics?

Sideshow recommends you use Tamiya paints so their regular acrylic black should do and be easy to clean up if you make a mistake.

Got my Spidey in today and he looks great. Does have a few paint issues but don't think I will send it back as I'd hate to get a worse one. But I do have a question about the base.... where it is printed THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN it looks like some of the paint didn't stick or whatever cause a lot of the letters are missing portions etc... is this common?? Is it supposed to be like that? I noticed the box has red letters but then certain areas are grey... so maybe the base is supposed to look like the printing on the box?

Can anyone clarify if the base is supposed to look like that with the crappy printing on AMAZING SPIDER-MAN??
