So, it's cool to hate on End Game now, huh? Thar didn't take long.

I think IW and EG are about even. Both have an equal number of memorable moments.

IW is more rewatchable for several reasons, but EG has the most epic moment I've seen in a theater, when the portals open and both sides are about to go to war. I had big dumb smile on my face and nothing in the MCU or any other franchise will top that for me for a long time.

EG and ROTJ have nothing in common, other than having the good guys win. Cap's dance at the end was such a perfect ending too.
I agree with you 100%. I love both movies for different reasons. I do think IW is a slightly better movie overall, however EG was full of emotional impacts that I never thought I'd experience in a movie due to the build up of attachment to the characters over 10-11 years and multiple movies. The only thing recently close emotionally was seeing Luke Skywalker redeemed at the end of Mandalorian S2.

Don’t hate endgame but I just tell it like it is. It’s not as good as the others. Better than age of ultron tho. Eg had some great moments but something about it just falls flat for me lol

IW is just a very tightly made film. Perfect pacing, structure, cliff hanger ending. Thanos is the better character in that film. Endgame is great, but that feels more like a series of fan service moments that tie things up instead of just being whatever film it wants to be.

As said, Infinity War was the better movie compared to Endgame.

As for Captain America, I don't hate him. I do wonder though what goes in his mind during family gatherings when him, Peggy, and Sharon are in the same room...

"I can do them all day."

Of course it Will be like an echo chamber around here but for sure the hype for Infinity War was electric and yes I even agree it was infinitely better than Endgame but we didn’t knew it at the time we were watching the movie. Once the credits rolled we knew what it was though.

I know I was trying to avoid spoilers but now I’m curious that it’s two weeks out and haven’t heard nothing about the movie at all like little details? Can’t find nothing on reddit hehe. I mean it’s cool to find out about the spoilers before the movie is out so I can see how much they got wrong but it’s different when people have actually seen it lolol when‘s the world premiere? Lolol

Agreed, I left the theater thinking it was a solid comic-book flick, but not near the quality of IW. Endgame started feeling more like the Hobbit movies than the LoTR quality I was hoping for.

But we live in a world now where if you say I didn't care for Rise of Skywalker, you must be a Star Wars hater.

We'll see how people feel about IW and EG in 20 years. I play the long game.:gandalf
The true testament of technology right there, i personally feel the Marvel movies won’t age well because of their heavy use in CGI. Practical movies from the 60’s70’s 80’s aged well because of it, but even rewatching some movies from the 90’s and I’m like whoa, Even the Jurassic park Dinosaur is starting to look cartoon I think

I am hoping for the best for this movie, but I am having my doubts as well. Last minute re-writes and a ton of characters can be a hit or miss venture. I have a feeling this might be the weakest of the trilogy, but get the most hype because of all the stacked characters.

I remember going to a sold-out show for spider-man 3. Leaving that theaters, I was like wtf.

That version of Venom was trash. Raimi didn't want to do him and apparently it was forced on him. Emo Parker went too far, Sandman and Goblin Jr. felt right, although Goblin Jr. should have just been Hobgoblin to do something different. Making Sandman the real killer of Uncle Ben was odd too.
