I love this game. I have had such a blast playing through it. I am just working on the side missions now, as well as the research stations and the black cat stuff. I really look forward to hearing what follows next. Best Marvel game for me thus far.

THis game was an absolute blast. What a story as well. Wish there was less back and forth to the shelter and the lab , really dragged it out and made the whole first half seem Spider-Manless. Also why make the crimes that are ongoing so damn easy??? It barely involves a “chase” to stop a criminal chase. That really cheapens the experience when coming back after beating the main story.

Anyone get the dlc that came out yesterday? Only played it for a little while but from what I gathered it’s similar to the regular story where you just go around the city looking for art and getting alerts to beat up people. Sounds disappointing but I haven’t gone too far into it yet so we’ll see what all it has.

Ever since the Raimi Spider-man movie (Kirsten Dunst) and to a lesser extent, the Ultimate Spidey comic, they've really made MJ more "girl-next-door" and homely rather than the smokeshow she is in the comics. She's supposed to be a supermodel and actress for crying out loud!

I was just sick of the over-complicated love story that seemed to throw meaningless, self-imposed obstacles in the path of two people who clearly still have feelings for one another just to prevent them being together.

Their big reason for breaking up prior to the events of the game was that Peter was too concerned with Mary Jane's safety and it got on her nerves. Considering the habit she has in this game of sneaking around heavily fortified enemy bases while dodging hostile guards armed with machine guns (without any means to defend herself), his worry isn't exactly unreasonable.

Just wish that they could have thought of something better for her to do than turning her into Lois Lane.

The game is great,loved the story and powerups. Even though it has been discussed how easy is to get the platinum, honestly I couldn't care less to get it because its so boring to beat up thugs, prisoners,sable soldiers like .... 40+ times to clear all distrcts.

As I said story and length was great but the side missions and all this filler crap is really boring. For a second i thought i was playing a Tony Hawks game.
