i have an extra pair of blue spandex type pants(they are brighter then pic..royal blue)..would be good for someone..like big boa, etc...
these are on a standard joe pro body...but have a bit of room to stretch...only have one pair(was a mistake pair from something else..so i had to cut them down...but they are fine, etc)...

You should have the back like the left, a rectangle, and the front like the right with the angles. Don't make the top of the front pointy. Make it like the pattern you had earlier. I'm not sure if the X matters.

the pointy..gives it the illusion that it's rounded a bit...i was having issues with the other one(2nd)..so i needed something easier to sew, etc...if you look at the BH pants..the front and backs are the same..just that the backs are sewn into the legs(like my other pants)..and the fronts are like a patch(like you said)....
but im all for making the back ones square..easier for me to do and better looking...lol...
