From July the 10th, count 3 days for payments, 15-20 days for them to transfer our Spikes to the EU warehouse, 2-3 days to label them and then they're ready to go. That makes 24 days tops of wait as of today (they could be held an extra 5 days in customs) . That's the official word. But I'm sure they won't take that many days. I hope they start shipping in two weeks at least.

Wow! Awesome pictures. I loved all the comparison shots. This proves that 12 inch Spike is one of the best figures ever produced in a 1/6 scale line. It's just fantastic. Naked Spike is a turn-off! haha

I also wanted to see how the head fits in the statue...and LOL! @ naked spike with a thong like material between his legs. I wanted to see that too :lol

The detail between the 12" and PF is quite a difference. Everything is better on PF Spike

Another question: Why the hell did they not give Spike a body and a bulge? lol. They do it with the 12" figures *is sad* What?! I couldn't resist undressing Angel, lmao

I know we don't see Spike's body because it's covered with clothing but this is another reason I am so happy I went the Captain America PF route over Spike. Cap is such a better PF, because his anatomy is all there underneath the clothing which makes him feel like such a better investment. Seeing naked Spike was frightening on so many levels. lol

Those scrawny alien like arms and plain mannequin body like the Bobba Fett bother me. It's nice to know that there is a sculpted body underneath. Regardless of the fact, I will get the Spike exclusive one day. However, the Cap was a priority over Spike when it came down to making that first initial purchase, and which was more important to get before the other.

Of course PF Cap is a better investment. There are a lot of Buffy fans, but there are way more Marvel fans. I disagree about Cap being "such a better PF" figure, but it's not really worth arguing about.

can someone do me a HUGE KIND favour to help call the customer service and ask how much the shipping of the buffy/angel/spike pf is to SINGAPORE. i sent them an email 2x but no reply and i cant seem to make any overseas calls.

the call u guys make should be free of charge right?
can someone pls assist me?

BD, did you adjust his t-shirt? I'd swear that mine has a much bigger collar.

Oh sorry Dave, I misread what you meant. I thought you meant the red shirt:eek:
But yeah I found the collar too big. All I did was when I put the sculpt in the slot, I put part of the shirt underneath it and it covers some of it. If that makes sence! Looks far more realistic now I think.

Thing is, having done this sort of work myself I know why they have done what they did in regard to Spikes, 'under developed' body. *g*

Because the scaled down fabric does not hang in the same way as it's real life counterparts, they have to sculpt back the body, so to allow for the thickness of the fabrics and so that the clothes hang well when on him, and as you can see he has three layers over him.

If he was sculpted realistically they may end up bulking him up too much.

Bingo. And I thank God that they don't worry about what he looks like without the clothes on and concentrate on what he looks like on my shelf :D

I hate to rub it in, but I've worked out that my final total for him comes out as being slightly cheaper then if I'd gone and bought a non exclusive version from the London branch of Forbidden Planet, minus postage.

With the exchange rate as it is this figure has turned out to be a good deal really.

I was thinking about that actually Sue. I was wondering if it would made an issue how the clothes hang, because right now with that basic inhuman like figure the clothes seem to hang very well and give him that much more filled out look.

Still, for 250 USD, one would love to feel as though that detail was included. It's more-so for piece of mind. But then again, these are not fully sculpted statues. Even then you wouldn't have any of the anatomy sculpted if it was Spike in 100 percent polystone. Since the sculpting would have taken on the shape and form of his clothing. These are Premium Formats after all, and part of the allure is the mixed media which adds depth and texture to the piece, which otherwise wouldn't have been there had he been just a plain old statue.

I suppose I want my cake and eat it too. Either way, I am a Buffy/Angel fan and my Buffy PF feels very lonely and needs her Blondy Bear (yes it was Harmony who said that), and her brooding vampire with a soul (the original anyway), good ol' Angel.
