Gang, I had to leave my baby Shiba at the vet this afternoon. She's been breathing somewhat labored the past few days, and it turns out, on X-ray, she's got quite a bit of fluid surrounding her lungs. I hate leaving my baby there, but, what can you do? Now it's $1000 of tests, procedures, lab work, and sedation, but I don't care.

Just wanted to say, the freaks bring me a little bit of joy. Came home to find these two items in the mailbox:

And my stickers for Spooktacular Collection Stash! Thanks SS!!!

Dude you hit the nail on the head, something is really off. They've barely said anything about Spooktacular AND they mentioned something about NYCC when I opened this thread and nothing ever happened. I figured that they would be at least handing out Gift Cards at the show but there was nothing... w T f is going on???

I was wondering what happened with the NYCC announcement. I thought they'd do a few contests or announce a new product, but nothing, and Spook doesn't seem to be shaping up to be much of anything. Needless to say, it's been extremely disappointing and it hasn't even started yet.

No gift cards at NYCC? I know I read posts of people taking handfuls of them last year at the event. It could also be probably due to all the attendees flipping multiple GCs from sdcc?

It could be a financial situation/reasoning though?

Thanks buddy. I got to bring her home, but she's very tired from all the poking and shaving, and of course the sedatives. Gotta go back tomorrow for an ultrasound, but it's already not looking so hot for the baby. She's likely going to be a candidate for surgery, but tonight alone was twelve hundred! I'm taking Friday off to hang out with her, especially since I have to leave next week for awhile to Boston. Damn, I don't want to leave her right now...
