And, remember, when you use reward points on a purchase then you don't get any reward points for said purchase.

Example:
Say you buy something that is $200; then you will receive 200 points or $10. If you use your current points you would bring the cost down to $157, but you will receive no reward points at all.

That's why I only use RP to buy something out right, or very close to.

I'm the same way. It's why I never use a coupon on stuff that's really expensive, cause it's not worth using a 20 dollar coupon when you'd loose more than that in converted reward points.
