Re: Spud's Customs

Revisited my Endor trooper tonight, I also put together another one over the weekend. My newest mod was to their hands to give them the proper armor. I hijacked some of my spare Snowtrooper hands and had to cut down the armor a bit. Really happy with these two and I'll be putting together a third soon.

Re: Spud's Customs

I still have to get storm troopers, alot of stuff I want to buy crazy how many projects you have done in 2 years. Nice weathering

Re: Spud's Customs

Thanks dude. Yeah when I look at how many 1/6th scale figures I've amassed in the last 2 years its kinda unbelievable. haha Considering I only had Clones and Jedi before that. Always gotta come back to the OT where it all started. :)

You can get stormies on Ebay-Force toys version-that are really quite good. Copies of Sideshow's early vesions...

Re: Spud's Customs

Lol I know i just spent too much money i used it all on my clone army lmao

Re: Spud's Customs

Those ROTJ troopers look great man. Nice, accurate mods.

Thanks dude. :) They have been a lot of fun. There is still one thing I have to do and that's paint the soles of their boots either a light beige or white, most of which will be covered with the weathering of mud and moss but the difference will still show through. Then I can call them done. I need to get a shot of all my Battlefront guys together with their buckets off because thus far I've been able to find different head sculpts for all of them.

Re: Spud's Customs

Wow nice work! and you have the posing down! posing these figures correctly can really bring them to life

Re: Spud's Customs

Cheers Ron. :)

Yeah they are primarily Marmit but there are some Hot Toys pieces like the torso/waist armor and belts. The one on the left also has HT shoulder bells.

Re: Spud's Customs

Took the plunge tonight after a crappy day at work and started on Biggs. It was a nice stress reliever but my forehead hurts now from squinting and trying to focus. Haha. Still quite a bit to do on the helmet but I got the two patterns done that I was most worried about.

Had to do quite a bit of carving to the head but I made it to where the Luke hairpiece can sit as a guide for the helmet.

And Wedge is waiting his turn.
