I'd seriously consider it the best game I've played this console generation.

Yea for superhero games yea but there is alot of stuff better.

The end of AC is laughably stupid. If Charles Manson died and someone carried his body out it would not be a somber moment and Charles Manson isn't anywhere near as bad as The Joker (other than that hes real). The end of the game they shovel so much at you its tough to remember why you're even doing whatever it is you're doing and the boss fights where always major disappointments save Mr Freeze.

I think Arkham Asylum was more original, being the first, and City definitely had a better story than Origins imo. Also had multiple storylines intertwining, whereas Origins turned out to be extremely lineair and, to be honest, kind of dull imo. Yes there's plenty of isolated awesome stuff, but the story just really didn't develop into what I'd hoped given the initial premise. Joker's excellent, but Asylum and City's Joker still outclasses it, and that's where Origins bet on the wrong character to make it interesting imo.

Also found the level of nods to origins of villains quite minimal. I'd have hoped to see a

Harvey Dent DA campaign sign at the least, a news flash of an accident happening at a biological lab and/or a massive new discoveries in cryogenics by a brilliant scientist called Viktor Freeze. Or other characters, Jonathan Crane losing his licence as psychiatrist etc. That sort of stuff was just so minimal, too minimal imo. They should've thrown the strict 'this is year 2' canon out the window and just really put tons of origins in there. Instead we essentially got a Joker-Batman origin interrupted by Bane, with the disguise of an assassin story.

I can find two good things about Joker turning into a titan at the end of AA. 1) His piece of dialogue before injecting himself, don't know why but it amuses me. 2) The ending cutscene with Batman punching him with the gel sprayed on his fist. The boss fight is probably the most disappointing in the game, maybe even series, next to the Killer Croc caverns.

Major problems for me with that Batman is 1) It's not the TAS skin 2) it's a god damn 'nother flippin Batman, just give us new characters dammit and 3) that waist is too long. He looks like a gangsta rapper with his belt that freakin low, ruins the whole sculpt for me.

Joker however is one of their best yet imo, gotta neat idea to use both heads in a setup.

I really think tdkreturns and 70s skin were bs choices. One of 'm at least shouldve been either Nightwing or Ra's Al Ghul. Amd Armoured Batman from Asylum shouldve been Scarecrow. Man that'd have been awesome. F@ck all these Batman skins.

I love how MGS2 Raiden turned out, he looks fantastic.

I've yet to see a PAK Batman I don't like, I really think they are all excellent. I just think you either like the SQEX style or you don't. Some figures are more accurate to their license, and some have more SQEX style. 70s Batman looks great to me, I've been debating picking him up and I think I probably will now.. I'm going to end up with a PAK Batman collection at this point.

I really wish they would do TAS & Beyond though, along with Nightwing. Hopefully they'll do a Nightwing in the Variant line at least.. Not much good for Arkham collectors because of scale.. but would still be awesome.

I got mine today (I purchase my PAKs from Japanese retailers).
He is so much nicer-looking in person. Really wish they hadn't sculpted
those two pieces of hair right in front of his eyes though, but he's a
gorgeous figure nonetheless (better paint apps than MGR Raiden IMHO).

No problem Mazukou, he's always does fast reviews upon release. It's helpful in deciding if and when to get a new PAK figure. lol.
