PAK doesn't even use a specific scale, and I think that's where the real problem is. But, yeah, they should definitely keep consistent sizes with characters that belong to the same franchise. It's really noticeable, for example, where GZ Big Boss is much taller than the Peace Walker figures.

That sucks, I'm currently getting the DC Variant figures, they seem to be consistent but I don't have them all yet

I was going to get them all, but I'm not a fan of some of the designs or price points. I had Batman but I'm trying to unload him on eBay.

Yup, well at least i think the scale works.

Thanks so much for this pic. I think the scale (being off by a little) still works. They look good together. I'm really looking forward to getting the next 4 figs of this line in the next few months. How'd you get your Tifa so early?

Got it from a Japanese retailer, even with express shipping (3 days to my door) i ended up paying less than the NA price.

I got my MGSV TTP Big Boss in just now

I must have got a really, really good one because the paintwork and everything is worlds better. It's not even that shiny if you can believe it

It's weird cuz in hand, I'd say it's normal looking or even slightly on the short side

They positioned the scarf in a way that it covers 1 shoulder completely and the other has all the neck and trap muscles covered so you only see the shoulder. The chin is slightly covered too so it actually looks like is sitting lower than it is, sort of like an illusion of the scarf

There is a unsightly gap between the scarf bit on the body and the exchangeable scarf piece though, might just need manipulating a bit but overall I'm quite pleasantly impressed

@Amon You're pictures look great!

I'm actually thinking about getting some of these, since the line I collect doesn't have any thing I want coming out next year.

I was just about to buy the Figma Solid Snake, but I figured, if I'm spending that much, I might as well check out Play Arts KAI. I always thought MGS2 Snake looked lame, but really wanted a Metal Gear Solid figure. Might as well go with my favorite character—Big Boss! Although, I'd love a MGS4 Old Snake. That scene where he screams, "LIQUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID," is basically the culmination of everything that happened before it, so it would probably be the definitive MGS figure for me! I thought Solid Snake devolved into a walking talking PSA in MGS and the cheesy dialogue, while fun, broke my connection with the character, but with MGS4, he felt human to me!

My only nitpick was that end. I would have had him put the gun in his mouth, faded to black, and then we would have heard the Patriot gun shot. I'd be at the edge of my seat, wondering who's wielding the Patriot. It can't be Big Boss, can it? Then when they cut back to the scene, it would have shown Big Boss shooting the gun to stop Snake. Then everything could have went as followed. Maybe that's a dumb idea.

I'm might also buy a Zack Fair and Sephiroth if they make them. If they make a version of Cloud without the Hot Topic clothes, I might get him too!

Thanks Baneofdemon22…personally i not a good photoshop person if only i could make some more effects haha……...

What don't you like about the figma? More MGS4 is much need in every form imo (PlayArts, figma & hot toys)

Completely agreed. Snake pussing out was very out of character. Your way would have been perfect

I don't think it was out of character. Snake's a soldier and soldiers rather die on the battlefield in a blaze of glory then quietly committing suicide with no one around.

I would disagree, Snake isn't the average soldier. He never showed vanity in himself like that. He cares more about the greater good than himself.

A better argument would be that it was his natural his will to survive that got him. As shown in all the games hes got a strong one

Just got a call that Playarts kai Halo 2 can be picked up at the store today. From HK that is. Its been a while since I last bought a playarts kai figure.
