here is my crappy phone pic the lighting in my rooms ass so I cant get a decent picture without flash. figure stands up easily thankfully.

expression is pretty weak, and the paint apps are also pretty bland.

the gold armor and body paint need to be redone. hes supposed to be alot whiter and the red on the body is more maroon than red.

sculpt is amazing and will be an awesome figure if someone skilled can repaint it.

Looks like he can stand and actually hold his own weight.

I had a bit of issues with Cyber Ninja and Snake trying to stand up on their own.

Finally got it by re-working the footing but I still lean them up against each other.

yea no problems with kratos, at all.

my snake figure fell and the nozzle of the gun broke unfortunately, both him and ninja cannot stand up at all.

I think I'm canceling my Kratos... just doesn't look that nice to me, especially if I can buy a game with that money.

I use stands for my PA Kai figures. Afraid as well that a fall would break their accessories.

Anybody heard of a Kratos bootleg? Looks awesome but I don't wanna spend that money for a bootleg

All my Play Arts Kai figures came from Hobby Link Japan or imported into my local comic / figure stores.

All legit from there.

Yeah lomous, some super glue will do the job to stick the silencer back on.

BTW did all your Snake figures come packed with the SOCOM Pistol in the gun holster?

Mine did and the silencer is curved!

I have been gently bending it back and is better now.

Yea same here, silencer is quite bendable so I don't think you have to worry about breaking it. You also remove it from the gun nozzle. I almost missed that bit in the instructions.

Yeah, it can be removed which helps out.

Also, might have to get a hair dryer out and heat it up a bit to give it more flex and mold it back straight.

Dang is it is a pain in the rear end to use ClickandBuy...that said, after I finally got my CC info entered, my order went through. As much as some of you aren't fans of the Kratos, a co-worker just got his from SE to review and I personally think it's great. I wish it were the same size as the PAK MGS1 figures, but it's a gorgeous work of GOW art IMHO.

Ok - ordered from Square Enix store on 5/04 and received my brand spankin' fresh from the factory Play Arts Kai God of War III Kratos today (5/18) - 14 day total turn around time and a solid price ($69 with shipping) - that's pretty impressive considering it came from Hong Kong.

Figure is great, really impressed. I should have a set of the Vanquish figures as soon as they are available too.

I just got the Street Fighter Akuma. He's pretty fugly. Doughnut hole shoulders, pencil neck, and a face only a mother could love. Plus he falls apart at the calf.
They kinda bricked on him, but I'm dumb enough to get him.

A different reviewer for Figures.com received Akuma, so I haven't seen him in person, but Kratos is pretty dang impressive. The only major drawback is the heavy use of gray/shading on the face, which really takes away from the figure's overall appearance. Likewise, the facial expression is pretty "meh" too - not nearly angry enough - NECA got Kratos' face right and paint right, but Square Enix really hit the articulation on the head with this one - great detail in the sculpt too.

Vanquish figs have been out for a while too, wonder why i haven't seen any reviews yet.

Im dying to get it but im waiting for the UK square store to get em in since its alot cheaper, although it takes them freakin forever to get new stuff in.
