Did the joint snap? How exactly did it break? Mine broke too, and I sold it. Now it's going for crazy money.

He fell off the shelf, and the joint that connects the upper and lower torso snapped in half. The legs are still held together, and he is undamaged in every other way.

If it's the neck of the joint, you should be able to just glue it and retain mobility.

Yeah, it's the neck. Any recommendations on a specific type of glue or would regular superglue do the trick?

Any store bought super glue should work. Just give it a good time to really bond before sticking the torso back on and you should be good.

Yeah I seen that. It SHOULD drop at least by $10... but this might be the going rate for them from now on. It's funny, about a month or so ago I was predicting rate hikes within the next year and literally a few weeks later we get $99 from $79.

It's only a matter of time before were well into the $100s as the going rate. I remember when these things were $49 and people were complaining that the Metal Gear Solid figures were $59

- They are much bigger than before
- They started including more accessories
- Their sculpts have greatly improved over the years
- They started including bases as a standard
- They are handling expensive licenses
- Factory costs have went up
- There is a significant price increase in this hobby across all Japanese products, Chinese products, and American ones

I'm just curious if you guys purposefully ignore obvious legitimate reasoning because it doesn't fuel conspiracy theories.

There's a pretty noticeable price increase in most of the stuff I'm seeing in Japanese sites right now, and that's even after the yen fell compared to the dollar. A 1/8 PVC statue right now costs more than they ever have as far as I can tell. There was a time where getting nice 1/8 PVC statues was forty dollar years ago. Now they can go upwards of one hundred dollars without a special base.

Square Enix's stands are ****ing awful. They barely work because of how shoddy the assembly **** is. I have one that broke upon assembly.
