Your photos are terrible, they bring the THOR value, it is on, your provisions Proders same, very careful, a beautiful presentation. ;)

While I would never place the Hulk PF anywhere other than the lowest shelf, can the upper shelves hold the weight of figures such as the Thor and Capt America PF's?

Thank You

If you are talking about my display cabinets, the glass is quite thick and can hold a significant amount of weight. Although I have never placed the Hulk on the glass (and never will), I have placed the Doom PF (very heavy) along with some other pieces on the upper shelf for awhile with no problems. So many people were warning be of the impending doom (pun intended:rolleyes:) that I decided to move it just so I wouldn't get the I told you so's later on.:lol

who knows?? when's the last time you were in an ikea store?? i don't think most people can pronounce the names that they have for everything in their store.

i'm sure it all makes sence to someone in europe. i think ikea is sweden or switzerland isn't it??

Hmmm,

makes sense, good enough answer for me...thank you

Now, I just need something that can hold the weight of a Thor or Cap.

The Hulk I can always place on the bottom.

What to get...what to get....hmmmmm.....:banghead

The next piece is absolutely beautiful. Forgot I had it on order with my LCS and wasn't sure if I still wanted it but after one look, it was an easy decision. The female sculpt rivals any Moore work and the transparency effect of the water is very convincing. Enough of my babbling, I'll let the pics do the talking...

funny, i've been eyeing up a few different sonja statues, trying to make up my mind to which one to pursue. i was kinda steering away from this one, only because it doesn't show her completely (legs cut off) but a usuall squid your pics really bring out the beauty in this piece.

Thanks Doug. Grab one while you still can. With only 300 of these produced it will tougher to find one down the road. I was in the same boat as you and wanted a Red Sonja in the collection and this one jumped out above all others. Absolutely happy with this piece!:joy

i just finally caught on to what you meant by the transparency effect of the water.:lol:lol it really shows up with the lizard/croc that she has killed. you can see the skin/scales below the water line.

i was stuck looking at her legs and really couldn't see the whole effect to well, but after looking at it for the 10th+ time, i saw the effect with the lizard.

it just goes to show you, that it's so hard to judge these pieces until you see them in person.
thanks

Awesome red sonja statue great pics. Do you have the hard hero sonja? I would love to see pics of that one

I've been looking at this one for awhile. I wasn't going to get it until I saw your pictures. Wow! Is it one piece, or do you have to insert her legs into the base?

Not exactly at the base, her legs are inserted into the top part of her boots that are sticking out of the water.
