SS Alien Power Loader Photo's

Santa's bag must have been overflowing because I just received my SS Power Loader today.

Just checkout the photo's, detail is great except for Ripley's eyes looks like my ten year old niece painted the head sculpt. Apart from that just great the flexible hosing around the back is a nice touch.

Put this with the Alien Queen and you have got yourself on hell of a dio'

What did SS end up charging you shipping wise? Just curious as I have my last flex payment on the 4th of Jan and they should ship straight after. Also have the Queen on her way on the same day.
I know what you mean about space but I'm collecting what i like and grab it when it pops up for a decent price. Hard work and expensive when your new to the high end of collecting and there is no going back once you start.

Thanks for the shipping info I also have these coming to OZ soon. Was the Queen shipping charge pre the new Fedex charges? I ask as this was released well before the new charges came into being and the box sizes of each piece seems very similar,

AQ Box Size: 24.75" H (628.65mm) x 20.25" W (514.35mm) x 15.50" L (393.7mm).

PL Box Size: 21.25" H (539.75mm) x 18.75" W (476.25mm) x 15.75" L (400.05mm)

Are Sideshow's measurements out in regards to the box sizes? Certainly there does not seem enough difference between the box sizes of each to warrant such a discrepancy between the shipping costs of the two

No, they are actually affixed to the figures hands and inserted into small indentations on the loaders arms. Check out the attached..

Thank you for the shipping cost info, at least it gives me a insight into what to expect on my amex statement.

Is the queen heavier that the power loader? Maybe that is a reason why she is nearly $100 extra in cost.

On a separate note I just turned down buying the SS Predator Marquette because the shipping from the US would of been $730US via UPS to OZ, so hearing the cost for the queen and PL don't sound so bad.

Yeah, as I said the head sculpt looks like it has "Punters Eye's" (one each way). I did read early on that Sigourney did'nt give consent for a true sculpt of her face so they gave us this....? Design department decision go figure or pardon the pun "don't figure"
