I like this pic ^

this comiquette looks kinda strange. Sideshow is driving all the Marvel statue collectors crazy with the variance in scale. Another reason i'm glad i don't collect Sideshow Marvel statues.

Yea it's really annoying...for ones that don't display well with the others I just won't buy...I'm sure I'll be disappointed that I'll have to pass on certain pieces, but oh well.

Knowing Sideshow since it can never happen the COH will be of Hank McCoy's face like the Colossus Comiquette. Jim Lee Beast or Silver Age Beast. Not interested in anything else.

then why did they do 2 other X men that weren't on that line up in different costumes before this one :monkey3

Maybe because Nightcrawler and Colossus weren't part of the New X-Men line up so they had to resort to those ugly modern designs that we were left with. :lol

Pictures are up. I like it. Reminds me of the Hulk reading books piece. Also a non refundable 10% down payment (which i like).

That'll show the want to be flippers.

The Exclusive Beast Comiquette, which will include an a fine-art print and switch-out right hand holding a book, will have an Edition Size 200 pieces, and will be priced at $274.99. wow they changed their policy. non-refundable deposit due, 10% of purchase price for the exclusive statue.

you know, i didnt think that sideshow could disappoint, but this is the first piece that im a little on the fench about. It looks small... and I dont like crouched poses.

EDIT

Ill still probably get it, but I dont think it really compliments Beast. I was expecting something more animalistic, but then again as long as they release a PF.... (unlikely) then I wont mind as much.

10% deposit is new, but on the plus side you aren't getting charged an extra $10-$20 for the exclusive accessories.

I prefer this route as I tend to be certain about purchases... and if I'm not I can always hold out as they are less likely to sell out quickly this way.

As for the comiquette... don't really like it. Overall a good looking piece, but the head is not how I tend to think of Beast looking.

He looks ridiclous. I know his hands are supposed to be big but WOW. Also he is supposed ot be reading but looking up?

An Easy Pass. ANd now a new policy. Is that only for the EX? I guess they got tired of Jinxx canceling orders. :)

can someone do a mock comparision shot with Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Psylocke comiquettes in relation to this?

I dont know if its me, but he looks tiny, like a diorama

Sideshow is overcharging consumers by at least $100 on this piece

That'll show the want to be flippers.

All that a Non-Refundable deposit will do in ensure that regular customers think twice before ordering. It won't turn the flippers or want to bes away because they are intending to keep it to try and make some $$$. I order from Sideshow because I like the ability to cancel or Flex if the time comes and I don't have it, it allows me to order across lines and licenses without much worry. While it's only $20, that can add up quickly in terms of ordering and it means that I'll just wait to order from Sideshow and that unless I can be sure it'll be something I keep, it means I'll just wait for 2nd Chances for certain exclusives.

I'll say this, if its a new Sideshow policy across the board on all orders to go 10% (it looks like it just might be exclusives) there is no real benefit for me to go through them and not an AD especially living in California, a lot of those exclusives just aren't worth the tax.
