thanks woodsy! the moment i got home from picking leggy up (got my boromir lsb and styracosaurus maquette also), i took aragorn out of his box (yup, i'm guilty of being a display-shelf-less statue collector) and posed the two of them together to take pics. i wanted to put in the rest of my lotr pf's (got all of them except GTW and frodo) with them but getting them all out of their boxes is proving to be a lot of work, putting them back all in is another story.

I'm in the same boat...more statues than shelf space.
What do you think of the Boromir LSB and Styracosaurus maquette? I received both of those myself before Christmas and I just love them. Boromir turned out fantastic and the Dinosauria collection has become one of my favorite SS lines.....the quality of these maquettes/dio's is stunning so far.

Great pics mikkipog, thanks for posting! costuming and paint apps from the factory look REALLY good! He looks GREAT standing next to Aragorn...now we just need a GIMLI PF to go in themiddle of the two of them up front!

of all the three that i got today, it's the styracosaurus maquette that i just can't stop looking at. i just love the paintjob, the detail, just everything about it. i think it's growing to be my favorite dinosauria piece so far, next might be the t-rex vs trike dio. i just love ceratopsians!
for the boromir LSB, i have to admit that the appreciation i have for these regular-sized LSB's are still developing, being this as my second piece only after the uruk-hai LSB. i was just used to having the big ones (i have sauron, balrog, and the cave troll...still looking for morgul lord). but overall, the piece looks great, and i'm looking forward to getting the previously released LSB's to be displayed, eventually, with my PF's and dios. then maybe a boromir PF in the near future.

sorry but the third arm popping out from leggy's butt isn't actually the exclusive piece but the arm of my boromir lsb. thanks!
thanks! yup, after the GTG announcement, it would really make a lot of sense if sideshow would develop a gimli PF to go with these three. come to think of it, gimli hasn't come out yet in any form, dio or LSB, so i'm hopefull that he'll be represented eventually.

Can't wait to receive the EX version, but I think I'm going to have to flex him. I've never had to flex pay any item before this year, but I had to flex the Shades of Mordor dio and now it looks like I'll have to flex Legolas as well. Oh well, better than cancelling I guess...

They don't look good together since it's an Amon Hen Aragorn and a Moria Legolas.
...but if one just pretends that it was wash day and his cloak was still on the line drying then it's all good and they look nice together.
It's good to see that these will be comings soon. Looks like I'm probably two-three weeks away from having him in hand.

That would be nice but it's probably a real pain to get it under his hair and the quiver and that's why they decided against including it. I'm sure someone will probably make a custom but I don't have the guts.
