Soft light agress with this figure, he looks most like Orlando in this one, in the other pictures not so much.

Well since its from Moria i think its the scene where he is looking up at the Orcs as they fire down on the Fellowship.Just before we get to follow one of his arrows all the way up to THUD.
Flash is always going to distort thing a little for sure.

Agreed Flash distorts the photos.
I just got it, and took some quick photos with my cheap camera since every time you get something new and post you got something new, everyone wants photos. So I took some quick photos to show its scale and how it looks next to the other LOTR PFs and used flash so everyone can see what the details of its look is. I'm not a professional photographer and the point of these quick photos is to show what it actually looks like, not the perfectly staged perfectly lighted photos Sideshow uses in its galleries.

My waitlist converted yesterday for the exclusive. I know many say that the orc head is not necessary, but I still think it is a cool little piece, like the idol for KOTCS Indy or the axe for Blackbeard PF

Well just received my #183 EX. The orc head is really well done, definitely adds a little something to an already terrific base. Will post pics when I get home tonight.

Great pics from the Green Dragon site, and the display box looks good as well; I especially like the back panel with the shaded picture of Legolas from the film. Legolas looks great; the face sculpt is excellent, and very expressive. Too bad my Flex Pay plan doesn't end until April...

Great pics, Isildur's Bane, I really like the detail on the orc skull. I was kind of "meh" when the first pics werre released, but I like how the back of the orc head is fully decomposed to the bone, while other areas of the head are still decomposing. Great PF, better than I expected. I might need to find a way to pay my Flex Pay early.

I'm not questioning the screen accuracy, just that I doubt many people would display him without the hat just like most people probably wouldn't display Indy without his hat.
So to review, two lames combined (headless hat and light up staff) don't make a non-lame exclusive. 
But they're both still better than an art print exclusive. 
So now that I've alienated everyone's exclusive chioces back to Legolas.
It appears all this negative energy caused by my frivolous complaining has come back to bite me. That is of course unless Legolas' left leg is supposed to look like this...
