yeah when I called last week about the WL conveting, SS pretty much told me I was ____ out of luck and to wait untill next week to see what happens. I just can't believe they canceled the WLers already and it hasn't even shipped. I'm on high alert for this one to come back in stock. Although doubtfull I try to be optimistic about it.

Yeah it makes no sense at all. Why would you close the waitlist now? What happens if they charge the card on the 27th and there are 20 buyers unable to pay? Will they put it up for grabs as in-stock? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of a waitlist. It really does sound like a scheme to nudge people towards the Reg version.

They must have a substantial waitlist I guess and just cancelled all the flexlists.

It just dawned on me, all flexpayers(correct me if I'm wrong) have already paid for their statues, therefore they already have priority. I haven't done flex yet, but I guess it makes sense to start canceling preorders. I hope my charge goes thru ok onTuesday.
