Wasn't your only gripe that paint on the head? Do you think replacement heads would work out alright?

Replacement heads? You mean from Sideshow?
I doubt that the replacement heads would have better paint jobs on them but we'll soon find out since these gents would surely look into that option.

I waited on pulling the trigger with this one & get her early or just proceed with my flexpay sched but seeing all this hulabaloo, I'll wait for a few more days before proceeding on either just cancelling or what...

Here you guys go:

I think your EX head looks the best so far, even though the green kinda comes onto the forehead. But the White hair looks a lot better than the other ones. Like I said before, this is going to be a piece to piece thing, like the Iron Man chin problems.

Other than the paint smear at the bottom of the eyes, I am very happy with the regular head. The paint apps on the EX eyes and the bandana are really bad; I might try to mix some paint to fill in the spots on the eyes. The 'white' parts of her hair are really grey and I don't like that the brown bleeds through in places.

Thanks for the pics Kibishii. At least now we know there will be quite some variations in paint from figure to figure. Yours looks the best so far.

Seems like the EX is the bigger loser. Exclusively screwed.

They filled the butt in it seems, not gave it a reduction. I wouldn't call the whole statue crap because of bad paint on the heads. Although, the head is a huge frickin deal. It's a head. Eyes are important.

I recall from the Gambit there were a number of lazy eye problems with that one as well.

Kibishii your ex head looks ok to me if i can get one that looks liek that i'll be happy thats probably the closest were gonna get to the actual pics! But i have a little bit more optimism now!

Still the problem with the eyeshadow is obvious. It just ends suddenly instead of fading out like in the prototype version.

I think your EX head looks great, if mine looked that good I'd be satisfied.

And the problem with the regular head's paint is that the painter is not following the sculpt at all, the right eye was painted too low.

How much would a good repaint of the face cost? Estimate
