The whole lazy eye thing is getting annoying amongst other things. Sideshow needs to get it together already. The sad thing is Sideshow probably reads these forums all the time and just turns a blind eye to all of their customer complaints. An exchange or numerous exchanges for every statue that comes out gets tiresome.

With that said my Rogue arrives today. I hope it's a decent one. Still stoked about it despite all the bad turn outs so far since this will probably be the best Rogue we get.

That is a cute and overwhelmingly agreeable sentiment, unfortunately you have no idea how the United States Labor Market actually functions. If this job was "brought home" you can expect to pay WAY WAY WAY more for your collectibles then you do now.

How about sharing with us how the labor market works? I'd appreciate some of the insight that you seem to have. I certainly wouldn't claim to be an expert on the subject matter - my specialty lies in healthcare and I've only recently taken an interest in such topics - but I'd read some material online on this idea and thought it would be interesting to throw out there and see how it would be received.

My statement was made partially tongue-in-cheek, but there are economists that support the notion that eliminating minimum wage would decrease unemployment; there are also economists that argue against it.

I understand that workers in China make far less than workers in the US, and common sense tells us that producing these items in the US would cost much more due to factors like materials and labor costs. Eliminating the minimum wage could theoretically make us more competitive in the labor department.

There's also the issue of the standard of living being much higher here than in those countries. That's something I haven't fully worked through yet, but with unemployment at 9.1% as of 8/11, the thought here is that something is better than nothing.

*Going back on topic, some recent pictures of people's Rogues have been more encouraging. I'm not too worried about Psylocke and other future X-Men PFs, as Rogue's the only one in recent memory that has come out drastically different than the prototype - Gambit, Wolverine, Cyke and Sabretooth all reasonably resemble their prototypes. It still is a bummer that they messed up on such a hotly anticipated piece though.

Reg head scalp has a lazy paint application. does anyone have a black smudge or indent on both there reg and ex head nose?

I need to get a better digital camera to highlight massive reg hair imperfections holy smokes badly done. Smudges of brown and black on top of her white bangs, she got quiet abit of dandruff/grey hair and honestly they reallly need to fix the eyes on heads bloody awfully with wondering eye.
My girlfriends EX is coming today hopefully it looks better.

Mamba, she looks wall-eyed to me. If that was mine, I'd be asking for a replacement.

After seeing so many bad ones I am afraid I will not get better replacement than this. In person it looks better more like my first picture below than the 3rd one.

On the other hand, my regular head is f..kep up, I will definitely ask for replacement for that one although I believe my chance of getting a good one is slim to none. So far I have not seen a single good regular head in both forums. I have seen some good EX head but not the regular. Well good thing is I like the EX head better so the regular head will be in the box, but for resale purpose I still want a replacement or at least a discount from SS.

NO WAY they are sold out. they cut the WL on purpose. Count urselfs lucky. this piece is in desperate need of a recall...

SSC should fix these issues. This piece shouldnt cost more than $200.

why does the REG edition have a TBD ES still after its already shipped??

Me thinks they are fully aware of this travesty and thought as long as we frustrate our fanbase, they'll eventually just give up.

Im actually more upset at the fact that more and more people are simply settling with this than raising hell. I dont think any of the statues so far should've been sold let alone

allowed to leave the factory. someone should get fired over this.

100% agree with you man. My buddy got his in yesterday and is sending it back for a full refund. Its just not right at a 300$ price point. My gambit and Wolverine make this thing look like it was done by a different company.

I think everyone needs to make a stink about this yes. Simply saying she looks ok from far away is sad. Everyone needs to complain about this. Honestly they should care too. The SS name is attached to this. We have come to expect that to mean something...

Here are some of my pics. Just got her in today. I'll let you guys decide.... how it turned out...

I'm happy wth this piece. The proto did look better at SDCC, especially the a$$. I do see the lazy eye on both portraits but its only noticeable when you're looking at it a few inches away. Regardless, I'm keeping her.

Rogue is a wrap and now the wait for Vampi....

As long as you're happy with her that is all that matters but collectors shouldn't have to lower their standards and reason their way into keeping a collectible that differs greatly from a prototype that was advertised and sold with a NRD to their consumers.

NOPE. You have to speak with your wallets by returning her and letting them have pallets of her sitting in their warehouse unsold. It's fine that some people are planning to keep her because they are content enough or planning to repaint her but don't expect SS to change their QC.
