Honestly, though, what do you think SSC's will do? Besides replacing your order or giving you your money back, I don't think they are that worried about Q/C as they should, since they know that a majority of the sales, whether with the off-centered eyes or other sloppy paint, will stick and those people won't complain. I mean they weren't too concerned with the ROTLA PF Indy jacket situation which was even more a design flaw. All I got was 20 dollars shipping and a 20 dollar coupon which I guess is their way of telling me the damage (and any subsequent damage) is only worth $40, when that damage seriously affects the look and value...
When someone pisses me off, I let them know. I don't care what they do with the information, nor is there anything in particular I expect for them to do. A partial refund would be a decent start, but I won't hold my breath for it. I just can't let it slide without mentioning it. Maybe if more folks did mention it, they might start producing like they gave a damn.

I complained also. I think anyone that has been comic conned should contact them, or this insanity will continue. They really NEED to understand that IT WILL NOT FLY!!! :mad:

I will not sacrifice for Sideshow. They've made too many compromises already; too many retreats. They compromise on the final product and we fall back. They cheap ass on paint apps and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And I will make them pay for what they've done*

Yeah I would encourage anyone with a rogue they arent happy with to complain to them. If you just accept it they wont thinki its a big deal. They at least need to know that people arent happy with the SS name on this thing. I wrote them a long email. I would suggest everyone else call or email as well. This needs to happen in droves.


Also to the above poster. I fear that if nothing changes on this or the normal run on rogues... you will be likely be paying close to 200 for a displayed one not 350$. I mean people dont love sabertooth but there wasnt a flaw like this and Ive seen him in comic shops for less than 200 after being displayed.

I really think if nothing changes on this piece its gonna tank fast.

What I don't like about this piece is that they seemed to have "tooned out" Rogue now that Disney owns Marvel..They made her look like Walt Disney's "Cruella":

I think the piece does have some qc problem, so don't play solo. Create a list with your Ed number and put that anywhere you found.

Tell SSC, you do not mess with the collectors. Cheers.

Man, I am there with you. My point wasn't to discourage complaints, just that SSC's really doesn't seem to care as they figure for every customer they lose they'll get 1-2 new ones. We had 10-12 on this forum and several other forums in regards to Indy complain...maybe 20 total out of whatever the EX number was...most got offered a coupon or shipping...

So, I am definitely thinking about writing them an email and complaining about the heads. Mine are ok but there is def a slight lazy eye on both and the paintjob could be better. also, who else thinks her outfit could have benefited from the nice gloss that both gambit and cyclops have on theirs? anyways, never really written ss about issues with statues so what is the best category to contact them under?

The list for me on this piece and the flaws to one that I have would be LOOOOOONG for this statue!!!:mad:

When you look at her outfit gloss compared to Gambit & Cyclops her's is quite dull. I agree, that her outfit could've benefited with a little more of a gloss touch.

I used way too many RP's to sacrifice them for a refund and any replacement would most likely scarcely match up to anything I'd consider acceptable. Sooooo. :(

talked to a local guy here that can do repaints. I think it is ridiculous to pay 300 $ for this and then commision someone to fix it. I havent decided if thats the case... but I might just wait to see what SSC says. I didnt even get a complete statue, WTF is up with their quality control department. Thanks to quadacent for the tip.. I greatly appreciate it.

thought Cyclops paint aps were a bit dull, Rogue has a matted texture to her costume but the colors are very vibrant and rich.

BTW since I didnt even get a belt, I was wondering if someone could take pics of the jacket? Are there suppose to be buttons on it? Because mine doesnt have any.

Not saying that her colors aren't rich and vibrant, but if comparing her finish. She's more duller than Cyclops and a lot duller than Gambit.
