I understand the frustration, but I don't see where paying more for the piece later is a better plan on high demand items. Even with this Rogue, which is currently getting crapped on...people are still hesitating to send it back/sell it. I still think this could fetch a minimum $100 profit on ebay even with the falling out...so it still is probably worth pre-ordering high demand items...In the absolute worst case scenario you can recoup your money...

I bought Rogue to display with Gambit. SSC will never make another one to go with the current Gamy. What are collectors going to do....

It is an absolute crap situation, but the majority of collectors will likely keep their Rogue...for the same reason you said, nothing else goes with PF gambit at the moment/ever

That's the major dilemma for a lot of us. Sometime it is not as easy as a return for full refund. Sometime that might mean making an unwanted change in your collection. It's not like we can turn to the Comiquette line, so it either fix the problem yourself, take a shot on getting an exchange or just get a refund and move on.

I dont think this piece is gonna stay at a 400$ ebay price point. There is just no way. Now that will all depend on if there are replacements but with the regular line of TBD still shipping I think its gonna tank. I think this is definitely one that people have to bump several times and price reduce on threads when trying to move it. I really do.

Actually man that's maybe the nicest pair of heads Ive seen. At least her eyes are looking in the same direction on both heads! Mouth still looks like the Joker put on the lipstick but you came out ahead compared to others I think.

We should all just wait and see, the next couple of weeks will tell us a lot. The guess of $400 was with the poor reception of the piece in mind, it was selling for b/w $475-$550 just days ago. I'm not getting mine until Monday, but I already know that regardless of how it comes out...I am going to keep it. I'm just not ballsy enough to return it, and stick it to SSC...At the end of the day I still want a completed PF X-men line-up, even if I'll be disappointed....sad I know

here are my pics. The EX head is def suffering some bad lazy eye. regular head is better but clearly the eyes are an issue with paint job. She still looks good with gambit but no excuse for the bad paintjob.

I can understand that but that does suck. Because the more people just keep it the message falls on deaf ears at that company. My point was really we can pretty much guarantee that the normal isn't going to sell out now. its going to last longer than the sabertooth at sideshow. The exclusives for ST can be had now for less than the original price if you look and the regular is 100$ less if you are patient. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS ONE. People werent returning it or sad about its quality. I just think this is gonna tank fast. Because I think you are going to see a TON of extra exclusives returns and on the market. I dont think you get 400$ a week from now. I could be wrong though.

maybe years down the line they'll re-release a black friday sideshow exclusive. one that fixes the problem, the production costs of these things were probably high enuff for them to risk taking the chance of losing their customers respect.

First of all, Id just like a completed statue. Secondly Id like a massive discount, otherwise its safe to say if Im forced to return this Ill quit collecting the XMEN PFs. The only 2 id consider would be Archangel and Storm, but they'd have to do a fan-____ing-tastic job for that to even register at this point.

This is the ugliest statue I have ever seen.

No one should keep a statue they are unhappy with because they aren't "ballsy" enough. The more people that complain, the louder the message will be to Sideshow, which increases the chances of them taking some action to rectify the situation short term and put a longer term fix in place.

Agreed. Too many people are settling for 'good enough' with this damn thing. If you drop $300 on something like this, that was more then good enough for Sideshow, make them deliver more then good enough to you!!!

Just last week the people who ordered Rogue were joyful and happy, while the ones who missed it were bummed out. But a lot can happen in a week because now the complete reverse happened. We're depressed (Rogue owners) and the ones who missed out are ecstatic.

I guess that's what some people get for laughing (not me) at the waitlisters because now they're laughing at us. Oh geez the irony.

Well at the very least I am going to wait until I see the thing in person before I just go off on SSC, and then I'll decide what's next...

I noticed that they went up for preorders around the same time...

maybe they fired the half-assery staff and found replacements.
