That damn eyeliner really sucks. Dammit. I was beating myself up for passing on this for another and now I think I dodged a bullet after my Indy and Rocketeer issues...
The funny part was when I was opening mine I took a picture and thought to myself usually this sticker is the kiss of death for a statue regarding QC issues...
There's my K.O.D. QC sticker...
And here's my turd with the neck fitting issues...

got a response from SSC, they'll investigate..
Im just a little worried about the remaining xmen PF line. if Rogue was the last one out and she came out like this, then I'd commision someone to fix her for sure. Since she's early out its probably better to re-think my hobby and just settle with inhand pics before blindly preordering.

King Darkness, I am sorry but i can't stop laughing at these pics.
It's AWFUL!!! For me this statue was all TnA from the get go. I always thought the face and hair sculpt were terrible. Butt this pushed it waaay over! Rogue's got butt'er face.

That looks like 2 completely sculpts? The chin on the production piece is way different then the final sculpted.

I don't know about the rest of you but something about this statue says that she can be saved. I know that we shouldn't have to put extra cash into these statues, but unlike any other damaged I get the feeling once she's saved and showed off many collectors will take that route. At the end of the day she still beautifully sculpted and last but not least "ROGUE!"

That looks like 2 completely sculpts? The chin on the production piece is way different then the final sculpted.

yeah it can be saved, once Sideshow refunds at the bare minimum $100.. because thats how much its gonna cost to fix.
I overlooked the problems with my other pieces such as Nightcrawler, Black Panther, Ms. Marvel, Lady Deathstrike Dio, Namor Ironman Dio, Psylocke Comiquette... but this is just beyond ridiculous. I'll be even more pissed if they tell me that they are "out of stock" and no replacements are available... I got an incomplete statue. Why the hell does this cost more than SheHulk, Gambit, Ms Marvel, Wolverine and majority of the fine comiquettes I've purchased?
They should be paying people to accept these not the other way around.

Sweet lord Im crapping myself here in the UK & in Europe we pay Waaaay over the odds for these pieces and we now have to worry about paints like the ones that have been posted in this thread !!!
This is an expensive piece, and its a roll of the dice now too see if you get "goggle" eyes and "makeup like a $10 whore" if I wasnt going to be overly picky before . . . . I sure as hell am now !!

I understand the frustration, but I don't see where paying more for the piece later is a better plan on high demand items. Even with this Rogue, which is currently getting crapped on...people are still hesitating to send it back/sell it. I still think this could fetch a minimum $100 profit on ebay even with the falling out...so it still is probably worth pre-ordering high demand items...In the absolute worst case scenario you can recoup your money...
