I sent them an email asking to replace the regular head, I am pretty happy with the EX head and I don't want to risk getting a uglier face. The more I look at the regular head, the more disappointed I am with it; if you look close, it looks like someone painted the black lines under her eyes really dark and then used a finger to smear it away. Mine isn't as bad as others, but this still shouldn't have been sent out.

This is the typical corporate line and B.S. of many companies. It only happens to 3-5 (when it's likely a lot more) so screw those 3-5 people. At what magic number should it be important to a company? Shouldn't they have pride and embarrassment they have 1...2...3 or more duds they've sent out to good customers?

I am pretty convinced that the bad pieces will continue to show up on doorsteps and people will complain more and more over the next few weeks. I haven't dealt much with sideshow but I bet they will remedy the situation as long as everyone voices their anger. We should also continue to bombard their FB page everyday.

I just thought of something, when I got my IM maquette, they told me that they only had "3 or 4" people who had contacted them and that it wasn't a widespread problem. When I mentioned the many pictures on the message boards, she told me that they were most likely the same pictures and that their customer service had only been contacted a handfull of times for returns.

How about this, everyone who got a poor paint app, take a picture of the Golden Sideshow Quality Guaranteed sticker and post it in the Ask Sideshow thread?

Unless forced to by a coordinated group of people that have received inferior productes, they will always claim that you are in the minority as it's business suicide to at this stage admit they have a lot of inferior pieces out. I assume if most of you share your displeasure, there's already over 10 people...so if that number keeps growing and every sends something to SSC's they'd be put into a situation to acknowledge and rectify the problem.

Why dont we use the pic fuzzy complied with all our pieces just keep adding to it and we can send it in with all our Order numbers and pretty much tell them that were all upset with it, have a member who has bought alot from ss directly contact them with the collage picture and order numbers, no way they can ignore that right!

i already sent them an email and i think most people who see the issue will too. it will just take some time as more people need to receive their abominations to be able to send in emails.

I'd individually contact them and mention the fact that your are one of a group. Having just one person contact will not have impact and they need everyone that has a problem to contact them.

I'd also check other statue forums to see if they are talking about the same issues. With the Indy jacket there were about 10 on here and 6 on another. And who knows how many actually never looked at theirs or mentioned it.

I've always tried to call it like I've seen it with Sideshow. They do lots of great things, including creating great products and providing us with great customer service, but nothing they do during Spook will take away the far-too-frequent bad paint apps we've seen with them recently.
