Yup yup I did. Seeing how well she was done only makes me more depressed about Rogue though. Getting mine tomorrow or Tues....fingers crossed.

Can't believe it was only a week ago when I was pumped up for Rogue....how quick things change. Hope you get a great Vamp EX.

And I have them all!

Each is very impressive and each have a spot in my collection.
I can commission at anytime repaint them to near perfection but I dont see any reason. Sideshow still makes better statues than most companies I have dealt with! And that includes my personal customs and kits that I get. There are only a few statues that are %100 perfection.

Lets put the pressure on and ask for better products in the future.
I cant wait for my Vamp EX to come next Wed! All indications is that its perfection!

The SF member said that the CS rep stated that she thought they were being produced at a different factory, but wasn't sure. It was a guess and therefore should be given no proper credence without verification.

Hmm dunno if this is true or not but I called SS and spoke to a lady named Dawn. I voiced my concerns about the quality control issues with Rogue and she asked me for my name and order #. I gave it to her and she said I have the regular edition not the Ex. She then went on to say that the Ex were produced and painted AT A DIFFERENT TIME AND A DIFFERENT COMPANY THAN THE REGUALR EDITIONS which they do not even have in stock yet. I was skeptical of what she was saying so I asked her about their return policy if the quality isn't up to par and she said they have a 30 day window for returns. Now if what she was saying to me is true (I don't understand why though) that Exs and regular editions are produced at different times and by different companies then I have hope that my reg ed. might come out as they originally advertised. Either that or I've been comic conned conned :-(

Rogue is a huge let down. I actually think that even if the eyes were straight, I still wouldn't dig her much. In person, the face just sorta gives me that cutesy girly porcelain doll feeling, instead of a sweet and hot high end collectible for a comic nerd.

I know what you mean. To be honest I always thought the EX had that porcelain, blank look but I never expected the production version to look that much more porcelain like

Hoping that my painter can bring her back to life. I'm tentatively scheduled to have her portrait(s) repainted in Nov. hoping to see a few repainted up by this time, so that I see how she looks all dolled up. If the exchange process doesn't work for me. Plan B is already in the works, just in case plan A doesn't play out that well for me. Now that I have my original painter back in my corner... all is well in the land of high end collectibles

My interest has been piqued with all these "theories" & "quotes" from Sideshow personnels.

I'm still holding off cancelling this loopy looking piece hoping that there might still be some hope of Sideshow redeeming itself but who knows...

What the devil sideshow. Absolutely hideous. An utter shame really. By far theeee worst marvel premium format SS has put out to date. A major rip off. This is what they do to their loyal customers whos making this company filthy rich. Oh well i guess this statue was meant more for halloween. kinda early tho but great effort on sideshow's part to scare the hell out of us.

I might buy a regular edition just for _____s and giggles. I have an extra REG Gambit... maybe they'll be worth something in the future even if the REG looks as awful as the EX regs (if that makes sense).

It may take more than paint to make this piece what it could and should have been. Does your guy have any sculpting mod experience?
