I think the sentinel head base is doable. It'll be expensive--probably the cost of a PF by itself. The Jabba and throne set up cost a pretty penny and people gobbled it up. I'm sure Marvel fans would do the same with something as awesome as this.

It could also be a double base with just a picture backdrop, like the Death Star background on the SW Circle is Now Complete dio. That would lower the cost and make it more space friendly.

It just doesn't make any sense to show a promo pic of an item already received, with an item that already had a whole video, and a background item that doesn't exist.

We can already see from the sculpt that this is much, much better. Now if only they will do a PF of Emma Frost that doesn't look like crap.

I'm hoping either a third or fourth quarter release. I also hope that SS puts a NRD on this beauty.

I'm sure she'll get the NRD treatment. Seems to be the popular thing to do.


As far as the base goes, it would be awesome if it came with a destroyed sentinel head. EX could include light up eyes. One eye lights up solid, and the other eye flickers.

I'm interested to see if this sells out. It looks like a fantastic piece and even with the NRD if it does sell out it'll send a message that with quality pieces it won't matter. Especially considering the pieces with it so far haven't exactly been worth it IMHO and are still hanging around the site

i don't know why ssc doesn't just lower the ES on some pieces if they don't sell out. then again i guess it would depend on when they actually have to place their order for the pieces.

I guess you mean the regular editions, because most EX are sold out (at least the P.O. are)

i don't know why ssc doesn't just lower the ES on some pieces if they don't sell out. then again i guess it would depend on when they actually have to place their order for the pieces.

Two words: Production costs.

If they lowered the ES, they'd have to raise their prices (which would s**k for most collectors) and if they lowered their prices they wouldn't obtain...how much? ...500% benefit (?) on each piece sold.

It looks like almost everything sells out, it's just a question of how quickly. At the end of the quarter/year/etc . . . if their books look good and they moved all of their estimated product that's all that matters.

I could see sideshow pulling this part off, especially the flickering eye, AND they could have a variant where both eyes flicker, or they dont light up at all. "battle damaged variant"
