SS ROTS Yoda Jedi Master Figure

Old news by now, but the slow boat finally reached our shores and I got my POd Yoda before the year ended. This figure really looks great in hand, and its knees are so much better than SSC's 12" figures LOL So happy to finally have a sixth scale Yoda in my SW collection

I just don't think the clones were that smart. They followed orders. Almost blindly. In the Clone Wars series it fleshes out a bit more of their free thinking. I'm sure Gree just thought he could get the drop on Yoda before he suspected anything. Rumors are one thing but seeing him in action? That's something else.

I remember Bly saying something in the comics about how fast the jedi were; how he'd heard stories, but was blown away when he finally saw them in action. I think that had something to do with why he built up such a level of trust with Aayla, and why there were 4-5 of them when they took her out.

I think it would've worked much better had they slowed that scene down. Seeing it in real time really made you question why they took so long and any explanation just doesn't fit since Cody didn't hesitate, why would any of the other clones do.

It takes time to change camera perspective. I assumed that Gree nodding to the other clone was taking place as Yoda was glancing over his shoulder. The speed of the kill shot showed the reality of the moment.

I give it an 8 out of 10. Do you love prequel Yoda or classic Yoda? Which do you want represented in your collection? This figure has a distinct prequel look...which isn't a bad thing! But if you like original trilogy Yoda, it doesn't substitute in well.

It comes with a ton of accessories! I really like his council chair despite the fact that it is a little undersized. It has lots of hands, feet, and even an alternate portrait. The display options are endless! The price point is favorable too.

Prices for the ESB / ROTJ version are ridiculously high on ebay. If you have no Yoda, this is the way to go! I hope this was a help!

I just ordered Yoda this minute from a UK retailer for £81 and I'm really looking forward to getting him in-hand.

Seeing some pics in this thread and seeing some reviews on YT convinced me to pick him up while he was still available at retail price.

So the little guy came today and I'm loving him so far.

I just opened him up so I have yet to fully see him in all his glory but for the price I paid for him he is an instant success.

He is only my second Jedi along with Mace, I'm more of a SITH man to be honest.
