I know the thread is back on track, and I really don't want to derail it again, but just a few words to chavez.

I have kept out of the debate (and I try to steer clear of any Medi vs. SST debate) because it's just a waste of time and energy that generally achieves nothing. Especially when people feel the need to re-state their positions over and over again without bringing any new arguments (in a civilized manner).

Chavez, we get how you feel about SST 12" figures.
Some of us, maybe even a lot of us agree with some of the points you have made. Many here have brought up the subjects of the long arms on the short figures, the less-than-stellar quality and tailoring on some of the clothing, the mellon-head syndrome on some of the figures, the hard plastic used on the boots (just to name a few)... we've been there, we've done that. We have started entire threads to point out things we wish SST to address. Some of them will be addressed, hopefully, like a new body (partnership with HT). Some probably won't. It's great that we point out issues we have with these figures, that is the second best way of getting a company to take note. The best way is to vote with your wallet (which you are doing, so bravo!).
But (and it is a BIG but), your posts are not being very helpful.
If you go back and read how most of your posts are phrased, you'll notice (hopefully) that they come off sounding a bit, shall we say, derogatory?

So if you really want to cause an impact on the way SST are doing things, by all means exercise your right to criticize, but do it in an informative way.

Here's your first two posts on this thread:

And

Dude, that is most certainly not constructive criticism.

So if you want to get banned, fine, go ahead and keep up your posts. It won't be our loss, judging from posts as the ones above.
But if you really want to express your opinion and have an impact on what SST does in the future so that perhaps you too may enjoy more affordable SW 12" figures, do so in a more constructive matter and stop alienating all the fans here.

There, that's it from me on the subject.

Sorry for taking the thread back off-topic.

Yeah I can be a little harsh and direct, but that's just me!

I'm screwing around for the most part,it's everyone else that's taking this way too seriously,But you what you said was WELL said and I guess I can tone it down a little bit.

You need to stop with that attitude. Pissing A LOT of people off (who are contributing members, unlike yourself) only leads down one road...banishment. Actually, that sounds like a good thing to me.....bring it on Chavez.....let's see how long you last around here. :D If you think you are bringing something serious to these threads, you are totally mental. The only feedback I see that you are receiving is people telling you to get off your high horse....yeah...you are a serious contributor.

:lecture:lecture:lecture
Finally...someone speaking sense...he rips into everything and everyone...and if your opinion is different from his you better watch out...lol.

Sic him Pixeltwin. :lol

I don't think there'd be anything wrong with the hands. They'd be the same as they have been using all along, and I haven't seen these sort of complaints before. Just a case of the camera too close to the figure, and the hand being raised I reckon.

I've been complaining about that awful open left hand since it came with Jedi Luke.

Most of the other hands seem to be alright, but the left hand of fury has got to go!

I have changed all the photo links to imageshack-

P.S.

Glad that its back on track.

Roy...please know that despite the few around here who may complain, your pictures are always welcome and appreciated no matter how you decide to take them.

Seems there are folks who frequent this board who will complain that hell won't be hot enough for 'em when they get there....

I like the variety of photography of figures...from the very basic to the digitally enhanced...the varied quality of the pictures more effectively showcases the figure than just having studio-perfect shots every time. Like viewing the efforts from some of the folks who customize and change their figures with varied results, it adds to the fun and enthusiasm of the hobby...

So please...keep on clickn' & postin' Roy....:D

I wouldn't even begin to start comparing hair color based on the lighting alone in those pics. WAY too early to start worrying about that.

If the color is anything like it was at SDCC (which appears may be the case) it'll be just fine.

I agree. In Roy's pics there is really not enough to discuss per the detail you seem to want Prog.

Hair color looks fine to me. Besides, by ESB his hair really wasn't even dirty blond anymore.
