Awesome image, very creatively composed and great alternate take on story material.

Why do the eyes suck? the stare? or????

I don't think they suck, but they do seem more simplistic than most Sideshow eyes, the quality most Sideshow eyes have gives the figure life, this one seems to come from Yavin Luke factory where eyes aren't painted so well. Thankfully, that is such a minor issue and the rest of the thing is look great, Eyes can be look past somewhat, but if his whole head went the way of Faramir we could have been in trouble.

Thanks Maulfan, I like that shot too!

The eyes are very hasbroish. They seem too large or wide eyed. The eyes from earlier in the line look much better and are glossed.

Wow Great photos everyone!! I can't say enough good things about this figure, I want another one to display in Dagobah Training.

Must be a very minor issue then.I must say every time i see pics this figure it looks different.Pics must not do it justice just because of that.(must be one of those figs that unless your real skilled in photography just looks weird pic after pic.

i still think these are the best so far.

The better pictures have good lens-to-subject distance, interesting lighting, and clear quality, at least the better ones as far as highlighting the figure's sculpt and such.

Dead on flash photography is very poor for reflecting the true appearance of things. It's great for the drunk girls who shoot 80 shots at a bar on Friday night or the mom snapping a quick shot of her child playing in the house, but for trying to faithfully portray anything (object, person, nature) you're always best to go with natural lighting or indirect studio light, and heavy contrast is always nice for highlighting a figure sculpt. You need strong highlights and shadows to show the contours of the face and bring out the details in hair and eyes that over-flashed images fade out and lose.

I will do my best. But something tells me maulfan's will outshine most.

Appreciate the vote of confidence. Should be a fun figure. Like I've said before, this Luke is nice because he's part Jedi, part sci-fi action film gunslinger so the range of poses and "scenes" you can put him in while being faithful to the character is greater than A New Hope or Return of the Jedi.

AWESOME shots Evilface!! Some of the most dynamic shots of an SSC figure I have yet seen outside of our photoshop wizards. Very well done man.

I'm still waiting for a shipping notice myself, keeping my fingers crossed that it is soon. :monkey2
