Awesome pics Sean... You needs to get you a Medi-Yoda.

What can you say about the difference with the tank top on and off?

You know, I am terribly on the fence about that Yoda, as figures go, he's nice, but he's $60 and the face just is Yoda in essence but it doesn't look just out of the film to me and knowing SSC is bound to release one, I have a hard time telling myself $60 for the VCD in the mean time is worth it. I do plan to scour the bay for a Hasbro Luke for the backpack though like you have.

As for tankless, I find it's a subtle difference, but like I expected the collar region sits much better and the shoulders look better to me without so I'm going to stick with that.

This is a really awesome figure. The paint apps are just fantastic. I don't have an issue with it at all in that regard and the likeness is perfect IMO. The costume is freaking great and looks great too. The only issue I have with mine is the right wrist is fairly loose limiting my posing but I'm damn happy with it.

Pics to come soon.

Hey Sean, could you post a side-by-side comparison between Anakin's saber and Bespin Luke's? I would like to see in what ways they are different.

Can do, I can even articulate them right away. A big one is, for whatever reason, Luke's ESB saber had what looks like screws in the black grip elements toward the bottom of the hilt, which ANH did not have. Also, in ROTS, they opted to create a spikey texture within the ring that wraps around the hilt with the ignition switch on it, which was absent from the OT. The buttons near the blade emitter were also larger and more pronounced on the OT sabers. I'm actually really shocked at how different LFL let the ROTS saber be. Granted, when you watch on screen you hardly ever see it clear enough to pick up on the fine details, but true fans who follow the BTS footage and images and all will see a significant different, the ROTS hilt is quite different than the OT models.

Mine was the same way with the wrist Josh, kinda sucks but I'm not sending him back over that, I have another body around for a custom anyway, might switch that out.

I'm about 95% happy with this figure, if the eyes were just a little less pure white, it'd be a phenominal figure, but with the way they are, they contrast greatly with the iris and it's just an odd look and in most cases, people's eyes almost blend in with their skin tones, it's not so blatant and most of the time, Sideshow achieves that, but again, the eyes on this are much better than Yavin Luke's.

Isn't it AWESOME how Sideshow does pay attention to little differences in details like that? :rock :rock :rock

(can't wait to see your pics)

Yes, people can give them **** for things, but they don't skimp on weapon details, they're very thorough with that and didn't cheap us on rehash weapons.

Yeah, it sucks but the figure is just too good to worry about that. Besides I found a simple pose I like anyways.

See thats why reading some of your thoughts is good for me as a reviewer. I don't see that when looking at it but now I can go back over it and kind of rejudge it a little.

Ah, okay, thanks for that, Maulfan. I was thinking about letting Vaderkin have the unignited hilt because I lost the original one under the nightstand, and I think a mouse ran off with it.

I think this is by far the best 12" Luke figure Sideshow has made so far. :monkey5:monkey5:monkey5

I know I'm going to get in trouble for saying this... but... I wish a 12" Luke Skywalker in Hoth gear was in the near future. :monkey3:monkey3:monkey3

And, yes, I'd like to have one BEFORE a Lando.

In fact, Lando in ANY garb is an easy pass. :D
