^ Nice one! lots of people I know complained about the Joker's pinkish face, but I think they made the Joker's pinkish white because it's all the chemical burn on his skin, made it creepily white-ish, while Harley's pure white make up powder so her's not pinkish.

Anyway, made a sketch of Harl, totally inspired by this figure. I love this figure!

Hey guys been doing some research and will be buying stuff to make the boots hope your ok with a more rignid plastic for boots one type is pure black resin and the other i can add collorant to. Im getting some mold stuff tomorrow and will take a cast in may for those interested in boots, cuffs again not sure i can duplicate the collar piece but i will give it a go in a prop flexable resin.
So how'd that turn out groovy?

Yeah,that's some great work,batsheva.
Agree with imthebestatwhatido about the hair detail...nice touch

Nice sketch. Wish I had your talent.

Thank you very much, fellas!
I am hoping someday to be able to draw Harley in DC comics.. I've done a small gig for DC before, drawing as a penciller in the Red Hood and the Outlaws series, and I put the Joker in one of the wanted poster in the panels, hahahaha.. Really want to draw Harley and Joker in their own comics.. maybe someday. :)

Ok, when this page came up I instantly thought, OMG where do I get this print?
Is this something you've thought of reproducing or would something like that get you black balled from major companies?
It really is one of the most compelling HQ pics I've ever seen.

Also, how do you learn this? I'm sure you've had formal training, but how do you hone your work for that of the comic industry?

Wow... nevermind, just answered my questions, saw your website. You are a serious artistic force. Crazy artwork, just insanely skilled, that Audrey Hepburn Vader is killer man. Cannot believe no one has scooped you up for a monthly gig, looks like your style would make great covers as well.

Saw this figure today at a booth and damn looks way cooler in hand. was so tempted to make the purchase with it right in front of me

Even cooler when it's safe and sound in your detolf... It's not like someone is going to release a better Harley, I'm just not too big a fan of the body. The leg joints on mine are extremely loose...

Hello Niltusk!
I am going to make a limited prints from this artwork, it's going to be on my site after this year's STGCC.
According to the law, it's ok to make artwork using a licensed character, and reproducing it, as long as it's very very limited,
and you have to put the "...is a trademark character of...".
And thank you for your kind words! :)

I actually studied architecture for my formal training.. for comic art, I studied it myself, experimenting and practicing on many styles and from many artbooks. My passion is in the comic stuffs, so I am happy to learn and experimenting on it myself.

Thanks a lot!
And yes, I personally loved the Darth Vaudrey as well. I didn't know that Audrey's birthday is also the Star Wars Day when I created that one, such a coincidence! :D
Well, there's actually few offers to do a monthly gig, but I am working on movies and TV commercials too, as well as making comics for private clients and doing art exhibitions, so I can't accept any monthly gig back then, I'm afraid if I do, the result won't be optimal. But recently I am taking a break from movies and TVC's so I have time to do monthly gig, and right now I'm in a negotiation to do one. Fingers crossed!

Anyway, just to stay on topic, back to the Harley figure.. Gipetto0812, you should just buy it. Really. It's the one DC figure that you just have to own. A beauty, perfect rendering of the character! GO for it!

:lol I would so get her man but I'm currently purging the collection all really unnecessary items and only keeping the essentials so Harley will have to be a no go :(

:lol oh I love me some HQ :wink1: her comic series is super fun too compared to some of the darker DC stuff going on right now (Forever Evil finally finishing up and Superman Doom starting). But I have higher wants atm for my 1/6 collection :)
