I feel that way about all of the "Shadow" trooper stuff, actually. But, yeah, the AT-AT may be the proverbial jumped shark.

Even though not part of the regular toys... I'd say the SW Choppers has been the low point of Hasbro's reign.

The real truth is our dollar is losing its value which means it will take more federal reserve notes to buy things and things will continue up in price as long as the Fed keeps printing money out of thin air!

Look at the prices of the Hot Toys and Medicom figures they solicited last night. $150 and $170 for a 1/6th figure. And they aren't any more complicated than a typical SSC one. It's definitely the weak dollar and state of the US economy coupled with high oil that is influencing these mark-ups more than corporate greed.

But Gold is Money,and our Paper money is suppose to have a gold and silver backing as the Constitution demands.Honestly do you believe our paper money really has any value? What would you rather have...a hard asset that was mined with sweat and blood to get or have a piece of paper with demonic symbols written all over it thats printed up with no backing whatsoever.Gold has been the money standard for over 5,000 yrs and has been cherished for a long time and till now...when our dollar goes bankrupt then the sheeple just might be awaken,but then again,they may just accept surfdom and be literal walking brainwashed zombies and not care.Put the sunglasses on and see.....

Neither gold nor paper currency has value unless you can get someone to take it. People take paper money because its a symbol of trust that other people will also be taking it from them, not trust that the US gov has raw minerals backing it up.

All right in your own way; ultimately, the cost of living shall likely never go down again - unless we're talking economical disaster or something equally ridiculous...
Eternal inflation - no end in sight. And I have no real IDEA, or interest in wasting my flippin' time, trying to figure out how the heck this country actually factors in our Gross National Debt... the money doesn't exist, and most plans are proposed to lower it, not pay it off (which is physically impossible - granted, I think I've read about one plan to end it, but I believe it involved raising sales taxes to unbelievable levels - like 25%; 'though I'm sure I'm getting more than one policy plan mixed up into one )

I have to say that I'm just grateful that we are still able to use precious oils, paints, and cloth materials to create and distribute 3-D works of art (no matter what anyone says, these things are all about creativity and appreciating something for what it is - as well as, under certain circumstances, what it represents; THAT is art - the aesthetic human experience). Whatever - I'm not as upset as I was at first - SS's figures are pretty good bang for your buck, but anyone who's saying that HOT TOYS' quality doesn't match their prices is insane - I just opened my PREDATOR 2 kit, and it was MORE than worth the $$ it took to acquire it...
MEDICOM... at times, their quality and attention to details and accessories is NOT high enough to justify their prices. Sideshow and HOT TOYS, though, are still spot-on the value.
It's easy to complain when you're struggling w/ a budget, though... life ain't easy...

You just dont get it! Paper is worthless! its fraud! and trust me any INFORMED person at Walmart would accept a silver eagle or gold eagle.thats the difference! The sheep will keep believing their paper is money! it you research you'll find out its nothing no more than monoply money.Sure! we use it cause they say we can...But paper money today has no backing!
