It doesn't look bad but if they charge what I think they are going to charge then some serious upgrades and modifications.

I think they are gonna follow HT's current pricing but without giving HT quality. Just look at the Star Wars line. What used to be a 70-80$ figures are now 180-200ish

I see them greedy as well. Just like with the new Snake Eyes I see the price being unjustified.

I doubt they are gonna do any upgrades/modifications. If anything, they will try to separate them and make it into as many different versions as possible - a business model thats proven to be quite successful ala HT.

I agree completely... therefore the price point likely won't justify it for me. I wouldn't pay more than $120.

Same with their GI Joe. Prices are getting higher, though some recently-released figures are actually made up of about 30% recycled parts from previous releases such as the gloved hands, boots/beets, guns, grenades, and backpacks.

Wait. That's more than 30% I guess.

The Medicom one looks nicer and it's currently probably 60% of the price of this figure too

Strange, that this figure is getting so much dislikes. Looks great to me. This new pose just shouts batman from the comics to me and it even hides the one flaw I see in all their figures, which is the weird ball joint on the thighs are too pronounced. To see that nice thigh curve suddenly go inward to the ball joint before it reaches the crotch is too distracting for me. Again, it's all about the price point for me since I am getting out of HT due to price hikes.

Yeah, I'm also surprised this one (and Superman) seems to be catching so much flak. Personally, I think it looks way better than the oddly proportioned Medicom figure, suit looks better too.

I like the majority of the figure parts-wise. If anything the boots bug me the most with how short they are. They look like Adam West's boots.

Its not like this is the only Batan they're going to do though.

What gets me is just the sudden change. I felt the figures looked a bit awkward from the beginning, but the initial reception of these Sideshow DC 1/6 figures was really good everyone seemed to be into it. Now all of a sudden it's not like that.
