I still kind of think the head sculpt on this figure is kind of weird looking. His face looks all scrunched up or just kind of awkward. The mask also kind of seems off to me. Aside from that though the figure isn't bad.

I'm with you here buddy. I know it's trying to go for the look from the bust, but couldn't quite get it. But it's something I'll, no, we'll have to live with. It's not bad, but it could be better. However, the fact they're making a comic book batman, with two heads and exchangeable face plate...I gotta support SSC here. They've stepped up their game, and are doing a rather stellar job on these. I'm hoping when they do a black cowl variant, they'll go the extra mile and offer a new sculpt...more incentive for fans to purchase another batman.
I'll say it again, I'm stoked for this and can't wait for SSc to show us more from this line.
I actually brought that up to sideshow with another figure I was seeing if they could do such as batwoman I suggested with batwoman one base body with 2 variant heads with masks and 2 sets of costumes. however batwoman has red gloves so that would be crazy in batman;s case because they would need to have 2 variant heads, 2 sets of hands and costumes making it go up in price. anthen people would complain about the price and say it isn't worth it.
this batman has only a few minor things I don't like but the overall figure totally worth buying.

Batwoman. That figure will not be made by Sideshow.I'm actually liking the blue and gray cause this reminds me of the batman I used to read back then when I used to read comics regularly.
With all the dark Nolan bats, keaton, and newer batman images of him in a dark outfit, this is a nice change of seeing him in his original glory.

She's pretty much the only bat universe character that I wouldn't want.
Would buy crazy quilt or condiment king before I'd buy batgirl.

It would be a poor slot choice. 4 figures in and they are all Bat related. Spread the love. Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg need to be made. Toss in a John Constantine and Phantom Stranger or Blue Beetle well before Batwoman.

I Just never really cared for her at all.
Dislike when the "bat family" becomes too large.
Agree that the line needs to spread out a little more,but I hope to see atleast one or two bat rogues in the next wave.

For the record, I'm a fan of the blue (hell, I'm a fan of the oval logo and capsule belt too) but I have to admit, after scratching my itch to see this in black…

So just realized after looking at the picture batman will be taller than that because in the image the tip of his bat-ears are level with the jokers hair where as typically when a figure is stated to be 12" that's to the tip of their head. I tried it out on my own and that short look people were talking about went away IMO.
