Just stating the few gripes I have, that's all.

I gotta say.. this figure beats the HELL outta that HT Arkham Batman so far - just a much better built & solid looking figure.

I'm not big into the Jim Lee look, but this is a nice figure. My only real gripes with it are based around the cowl - & the small waist & 'spare tyre' looking belt. The cowl ears jut outwards a bit too much for my liking, & the eyes still look a bit too far apart. The belt almost looks like a life saver too.

That said - solid figure.

100% agree on the beating the hell out of Arkham Bman so far! I think the eyes are where they should be it's just that there set quite far back into the cowl. The small waist does look a bit weird but I'm sure just moving the belt higher up may solve this.

Make a black short eared please.

There is only a change of face and ears, for this piece.

He means if the eyes are separately sculpted and added to the head like sideshow has been doing on their other figures. (Ex: nathan drake, catwoman, commander wolffe)

The body, build, suit, tailoring, cape, belt, gloves and boots on this figure look fantastic. I watched the SDCC videos where they had the production sample for people to play with and I was just blown away by how good it looked in hand. Hot Toys has never made a Batman cape as good as this one. Makes ordering a no brainer.

I'm just not keen on the head sculpts, any of them. If this guy took his mask off he'd look like a creepy, sideshow freak (pun intended). He somehow has white eye balls (like if Keaton or Bale wore white contacts or something), his eyes are too far apart and that mouth is just downright strange. If he had a nose, it'd be way up high on his face. I know they were going for a "realistic" look but I think these portraits would have benefited with a more stream lines look. Sure, keep the square jaw but don't give him all those distinctive features. I'm also questioning the skin tone. Looks like a bat hombre.

As for the colors, I love black and grey and blue and grey and would get either. My only nitpick is if they're going to go with blue and grey, why not give this a yellow bat oval and rectangular utility belt Neal Adams 70s style? The bat and pouches utility belt always make me think of black and grey.

Brand new here and to collecting Sideshow in general.

Just got an email saying that my WL order for the Exclusive version had been converted! Woohoo! This will be my very first figure of any size.

Two minutes later I got another email saying that my 1:1 Joker Bust had also converted. Double woohoo! I just got the 1:1 Modern Age Batman on Tuesday, so this is very exciting for me and very disappointing one for my wife.

I need to make an official intro thread, but my excitement for this figure dictated I post in here first. Ha.
