I read it in one of the posts in another thread that the retailers will be getting this in very low numbers, like 5; could this be right?

I don't remember if they limited stores or not from when I worked in one. We always only bought 2 or 3 anyway so it was never a big deal...perhaps they are this time though possibly to give more stores a chance to order.

Believe me, just to become an authorized dealer you have to basically agree to a bunch of rules and sign off on the whole deal. So I don't put it past them to limit sales to stores or anything like that.

Don't know if it's just the camera angle but supes hands look huge

that's what I thought when I saw it. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode of MAN HANDS. Maybe, it's a tribute to Jerry, as he is such a huge Superman fan. So, they made his hands in homage of that episode...



Other than that, he looks great.

I think it's just coz that left hadn is out in front and his head is arching back bro. I don't think they'd put out a $400 PF with dodgy anatomy - unless Rob Liefeld did the concept art

I agree that the batarang could have been better utilized. Like having his arm up to throw it. I actual thought that would be the case when I saw how his cape came up over his shoulder but oh well. Like I said it Batman so it's a must buy and an exclusive must buy for me. I hope you do like it when you see in person, I hope we all do. I am new to this hobby and hav'nt actually got a piece yet just some on order but have been hearing some horror stories as far as quality of items when they arrive like bad paint or not looking anywhere near as good as the proto pics. I just hope this is not the case with this batman.

I ended up reserving mine too. Only because Batman and Superman look GREAT side-by-side. Superman can hold his own alone IMO but Batman needs some help and it has to do with the pose. As a stand-alone piece Batman fails but that's just my opinion. Then again I should hold off until I see it in person as you've suggested. Hope it changes my mind in person and for anyone else doubting. If I don't like it I'll sell it. But with Superman coming soon I'm sure I'll end up liking it!

I agree safara. These two pieces together are gonna be something special. I have a feeling Batman will be in your collection for years to come probably close to Superman.

The fact is the EX will be more limited than the reg vers. So we're ahead of the game. Having a more limited piece adds an element to collecting for me that makes it special. If you have something rare you feel better about having it. More privileged perhaps. That's the nature of the beast.

Supes looks good but the Batman is on a whole different level...just magnificant.
