Looking good dude

Thanks marker my man.... I am hoping to have him ready to print in the next month or so. I can't print to many headsculpts all at once because a) it is costly, and b) the machine I am getting these done on can do basically one Headsculpt in 30 hrs....lol. Surprisingly enough I have started to feel the itch to get back to the traditional clay... The problem being is I kind of suck at it. I haven't done much in the last year, but I wasn't getting very far considering... This

Lol
Its kind of a double edged sword with the sculpy. The harder sculpy holds the detail and doesnt move as much but its also harder to work the detail in. But if you go softer you have to be very careful.

I found the softer sculpy to just be goo in my hands. I would sculpt something and then literally in the next motion deform it. I hear mixing the two gets not bad results. I still have this itch to further develop my traditional skills though. The only problem is the inevitable frustration I know will coming from not being able to get exactly what I can do in ZBrush done with the sculpy.

Wow love it can't wait for him :)

Thank you m8.... I want to do some texturing, and then some more refining... still have to look at some of the anatomy as well. Sometimes it is better to let things sit a bit. You catch mistakes when you do... That and when people help... lol. However, I hope to have him to the printers in a few weeks

Just make sure you hide the ears before you print...itd look kinda weird if you didnt

No problem. The REG is still available at a reasonable price in the aftermarket. Keep an eye on the for sale section of this forum and ebay. You should have little problems picking him up at a good price if you don't convert.

Thanks. Will def. keep checking eBay and forum.

Got this today. Did anyone have leaning/balance issues on this? Mine teeders on batman a left side... I tried wedging a magazine under that side and it still didn't help very much... Any ideas?

I had a little issue. Just mounted some extra thick felt pads under that side. Solid now.

Apparently SS adjusted the pad placement and type of pads later on or something. Either way get hard pads instead of soft ones and its a 2$ fix.

Sorry savage not much time. what everyone else is saying is true. Keep the pads to the right side.

If you put the pads on the right hand side, as you are looking at it, then you should be fine.

When you say right hand side Shawn, are you referring to my POV looking at him from the front, and putting them on my right/his left side?
