It's the size of the box, it's huge.... Cost me $70 to ship it from California to Texas to have spazzy mod it and I didn't even have the base or cape in the box, just the body....

Yeah, when I bought my Batman Life Size bust off a guy in Cali it was $90 to Florida and that was FedEx, had I gone UPS or USPS it would have been well over $100.

It's comparable to the Gladiator Hulk box in height. The sculpted cape is an engineering nightmare in that it's super heavy,awkwardly shaped, and has sharp points. Also the base is pretty hefty. I scored mine in the FS section for retail, just keep your eyes peeled.

Spazzy is still working on it but he said he should have some pictures of it in the next week or so to upload... I guess it was a pretty huge project in order to convert it to a full sculpt because the material hid a lot of bad sculpting... plus he's adding folds and stuff to the sculpted outfit to make it look like material and not painted skin..

I haven't been able to haggle anyone lower than $550 for the statue, but they they also want $80 for shipping. I was lucky when the window opened up to buy directly from sideshow.

Yeah, I was born and raised in Chicago (first Bridgeport then Albany Park). I've moved to the southwest burbs now though. City is just way too damn expensive to live in nowadays. I've got a wife and kids now so I get far more bang for my $$$ where I'm at now.

Didn't make it to the CON this year unfortunately. My wife and kids went to my in-laws beach house in Michigan this weekend and I'm stuck at home reviewing contractor bids. One of my rental properties caught on fire so I've got a lot of work cut out for me in the near future. I'm hoping to go to C2E2 in the spring. Hope you had a good time at WW.

TDKR style wouldn't work with this piece IMO. As Ink said, it's a whole body, logo, etc that needs to go with it.

Just got my regular yesterday. This is my first statue ever and very pleased with it. Mine doesn't really have the loose outfit issue either which was my main concern and it looks like it's sold out now. Glad I didn't miss out on it.
