This PF is perfect IMO. Cape looks great and the pose on the gargoyle is perfect for Batman looking over Gotham City, high above the streets with a classic gothic feel to it.

I couldn't agree more bud. This will be my first piece and I couldn't be happier. To me it looks amazing can't wait to get it in hand. Going south soon and will be picking up a besta for displaying. This will most likey be the first statue to go in it. To bad about he wait

On a sidenote but awesome none the less, I will finally be seeing TDKR tonight in about 3 hours Managed to avoid any spoilers. Thanks to everyone for avoiding putting any info in regards to the movie on this thread. I am sure it will make me even more pumped for this piece.

I think there's no chance Sideshow wouldn't go for an obvious base such as a gargoyle for their first Batman statue (not counting the bust). I'm actually surprised that the Superman statue doesn't stand on a base that references the Daily Planet globe. Still, the "Batman on a gargoyle" theme almost seems unavoidable when you think of it. They also probably noted how much people hated the DC Direct 1/4 scale Batman statue's base and pretty much claimed for a gargoyle.

Maybe they received so many orders they still haven't finished counting them yet!! God I hope not though

It really depends, sometimes a week, sometimes a few weeks. I'm hoping this week too. I don't really care about the ES but since they're giving it one I'd like to see how many they sold.

don't they usually released edition sizes in a newsletter? So my guess would be we will find out in tomorrow's newsletter.

Sideshow just announced that EX has been changed to an open ES. People on the waitlist should expect their orders to convert in the next couple of days.

I have nothing against Batman on a gargoyle, it's freaking Batman! It's like doing Spawn standing on anything other than a church top, it wrong.
