So much despair ITT people buy for the ES? I mean if you thought the ES was gonna be low on the FIRST freaking BATMAN PF you are a spaz.

Batman.

A top tier character. Who is MORE popular than Batman? There are characters AS popular as him but no one more popular than him I would argue.

Chuck Norris?

Just freaked out a tad as I don't think I have any ex. over 1200.

Can someone explain something to me??

Batman EX goes up for PO..
SELLS OUT.
Edition size announced of 2000!
So how many regulars will there be? 2500-3000?

Is SS pulling our leg when they mark it as SOLD OUT?
Do they just make an edition size up on the spot after seeing how many orders are in?
Have 2000 people really ordered the EX at that price?

I couldnt care less about edition sizes, but having something sell out before such a high edition size is announced with a very high price tag and an NRD, just seems really strange to me...

I think this will be back in stock for a long time after its release and will end up on the reward points list before it sells out.

I just dont remember any PF having such a high ES for years now? (Could be wrong, but nothing i remember for certain.)

you saw how many people flipped out in this thread when they saw a high edition size. I'm sure Sideshow wants to keep people guessing when a piece goes up.

It's Batman, it's the way it is with almost everything Batman. When I managed a comic shop you could order almost anything Batman and expect it to sell, and not only sell but sell well. Same for Spider-man. Those two just sell to wide Audience on a more consistent basis than almost ever other comic property.

They truly are goldmines when it comes to producing products.

It's Batman, it's the way it is with almost everything Batman. When I managed a comic shop you could order almost anything Batman and expect it to sell, and not only sell but sell well. Same for Spider-man. Those two just sell to wide Audience on a more consistent basis than almost ever other comic property.

They truly are goldmines when it comes to producing products.

It's total BS that the ES is 2000.
The R2 & C3PO PF EX is set to 200 only! There is not that much of a gap in popularity between the two - 1000 or less for Bats EX would have been more appropriate and less of a BS move on Sideshow's behalf.

If you compare Batman to Vader I'd give you that, to Spider-man, most definitely. C3PO and R2D2? Have you lost your mind? Why didn't you just compare his popularity to an Ewok or maybe Jabba?
