You can't debate with someone who thinks an item that never holds it's value and always decreases in value can be logically compared to an item that history shows can maintain and even increase in value. Apples and oranges. I can't debate a mind that puts those in the same ball park. Go back to the Zzzzzzz's.

Same size as the old Boba Fett and Vader PFs. Seems pretty conventional for an insanely popular character like Bats.

Evidently every single one of you complaining about 2000 ES has been collecting only from Sideshow and hasn't been doing so for very long.

This isn't the first 2000pc ES from sideshow and compared to other Companies who deal in collectible statues This is NOTHING.

If you don't want your EX, I'm sure there are at least 50 or so people on the waitlist right now who will gladly take him off your hands.


Just don't cry later when you want him back and you have to pay over a grand or more.

The one I can think off the top of my head is the Emma Frost comiquette. They did 900 EX and 2,000 regulars. That's 2,900 of Emma Frost and she always consistently sells for like 3 times her original retail price.

Not to correct you but 2000 is for the EX ES. They'll probably make 4000 for the Reg. Being that this EX Batman isn't all that special compared to the reg 6000 pieces will flood the market. At $400 a pop, you will be able to get this for far less down the line. Shame too 'cause it's a brilliant PF design. I was hoping they would treat DC the way they did with Marvel back in the day. Like 800 Ex 1000 Reg ES. Yeah I know it's BATMAN, but they gave Captain America a decent ES and today that is a grail piece. Batman won't be. Oh well Not to bum anyone that's happy with their purchase but IMO SS isn't DCD, that's why I collect SS and I wanted Batman to be a bit more rare.

2000 is nothing I agree. Like I said before, once these hit everyones homes they will be there to stay. And I'd bet my paycheck that it will be one of the last pieces to go when people are making room Or hurting for dough. It will be highly sought in time trust me people.

it's DC and it's batman. the ES won't be a problem. there's a bigger DC market than you people realize

I just think all time high prices with all time high ES is not a good combination. Yes I will get him and display him and keep him but I won't plan on making any buck on him anytime soon

Yes, I know. Vader EX, Indiana Jones Ex, but you can still get those at a great price on ebay all the time and I just wish they would have kept the ES down a little. Strictly IMO. But I'm happy for those that aren't bothered by it. I'm not going to flip him anyway, it's just cooler to be able to say to my friends "only 1000 people in the world have this piece." No biggie at all, happy for the fans just had to vent.
