I just don't see a market for high end collectibles here. People are not willing to spend their hard earned cash and rightfully so. Our governments are good at wasting our taxpayer dollars.

You're about right there about mark up. I've secured a Legendary Wolverine from an Aussie vendor for $2229 shipped so not much of a mark up at all even with the strong Aussie dollar.

Yeah I know eh? Somewhere like Case Fresh are the cheapest online retailers I've seen and I reckon thats coz they are online only but check this:

Joker reg PF via Case Fresh $395?

Same price right? I mean, what's their markup there man? It would have to be nine tenths of ____ all. Their stuff always arrives at your door really late in my experience and I imagine it's coz they wait til they've got a stack of stuff to ship and they get some savings there but I dunno.

Flexpay and getting the EX means I go SSC direct.

Sideshow has a wholesale price for retail customers. They are buying them 15-20% off RRP. Probably shipped here in bulk too by sea. They are making their money that's for sure!

Remember the shipping though, it adds on another $20 or so to overhead. That's why I don't get how some retailers offer the discount they do.

What do you have coming in between to help tie you over bud? I got nothing to this and Hulk so it will be a long winter of waiting especially in the arctic lol

Joker EX in about 15 days, then the Ivy EX in January. Those two look great but without the Batman to tie them together it's going to feel a little empty.

I see, we had a toy store here that carried some but of course they were the regular editions. Majority of the prices here are now crazy $$$. I realise everyone has to put their markup on items but that doesn't mean I have to pay it The power of the internet I tell you

Yup can't believe u international guys are able to commit to collecting. The shipping/tax/customs is just nuts.

Since reselling and making money of it is nearly impossible in europe the items have to be TOP quality and if they are i'm willing to buy. These things make me happy. As an adult i get a childish happiness in me like when i was a kid around christmas, birthdays, getting toys etc. not many things as an adult gives me the joy a great sideshow statue does, so really, if the item is truly great, it's money well spend... so all in all it's a high priority for me... then i must cut back elsewhere if necessary (thank you flexpay!).

So I'm just gonna go out there and say everyone is pretty much onboard for Superman aswell?!?!

I am, The last Superman statue I had the urge to buy was the DCD Alex Ross statue. This is far superior. And it'll go good with Batman.

Interesting prediction Master. I just dont see them changing the edition sizes. I think they will have some uniformity with their two big boys. Just my two cents.
