True, although paypal now put's holds on accounts with a lower seller rating than 25. I'm not even sure how it would work for a pre-order.

Ha! No, wouldn't happen

I know some Sideshow products have popped up on evilBay over the years with "alternate" paints on them - if you were one of the guys working the production line you could "disappear" a few unpainted figs and collect a tidy sum for them later on. It's pretty rare though.

That's fine with me. I had been ignoring SS for quite sometime as my partner was out of work for over a year. So I didn't know SS had the DC license. Then I got the preorder email with Bats big head on it and I was WTF. Jumped on the site........ and well the rest is history. Thankfully she is working again so I can buy the odd statue. It sucked having to soley concentrate on bills and house repayments but thats life.

I'm just glad I can afford to get these as I have missed out on so many over the last two years. I just hope supes is all that and more to go along with bats and I'll be one happy collector.

Well with SSC now having the DC licence, it's a fantastic time to jump back in. Can't wait for Supes to go up to display with Bats as well!

I honestly think if I had missed it I'd just stop collecting statues. I've been waiting for this far too long to have missed it.

Well yeah, after following SS for a number of years now I had taken the whole DC thing for granted and like I said earlier was completely shocked to see a statue for bats. I honestly thought at the first instance that it was another makers statue. I was pumped to see it was SS. Then came the cold sweats as I approched the Mrs for permission to SPEND!!!
